Not a hotel, far away from Hagia Sofia but excellent rooms
Pros:

It is a serviced apartment and not a hotel. The room is gorgeous and spacious with all the home amenities one can think of for the family. We really enjoyed the room inside. It is a good value for money.

If you just need an excellent apartment to spend some time indoors it is good. But for first time Istanbul visitors it will be a very bad choice given the distance to attractions.

They took 100$ deposit in cash but promptly returned it at checkout, thank you!

Cons:

We didn't realize it is not a hotel at all, but a serviced apartment. We typically prefer standard, high quality hotels for safety reasons and avoid Airbnb etc.

One also has to pay for extra towel, housekeeping etc. There is no view from the room to speak of, as it is surrounded by high rises with no direct sunlight. We also reserved bunk beds for our kids but they gave us a standard room and said bunk bed rooms are not available. When we pointed out that we booked a bunk bed room, he called the random room he gave, an "upgrade". It was a big disappointment for our 8 year old.

It is also far away from Sultan Ahmet (Hagia Sofia) which we knew at the time of booking, with compensating cost reduction. However we didn't know it is more like an Airbnb.

There was also a noise at midnight (someone hitting with a hammer!) as our room was third floor close to the street. We had asked for a higher floor room anticipating this at checkin but he said they were unavailable (I think it is more likely he simply didn't want to search for the room at higher floor given the foot traffic in the small lobby).

Overall we are very happy about the room and interiors, kitchen and amenities but not with all confusion - not a hotel, we didn't get the room we booked, extra charges for well, everything and disappointing views.

Excellent Value for an Extended Stay — Highly Recommend
Pros:

We spent 16 nights at BayMari Suites City Life in Istanbul, and it turned out to be the perfect base for an extended stay together. The suite felt more like a small apartment than a hotel room — spacious enough for the two of us to settle in comfortably, spotless, and never cramped even after over two weeks. Having the kitchenette (fridge, stovetop, kettle) made a real difference — we ended up cooking together most days instead of eating out, which became one of our favorite parts of the trip.

Staff were a real highlight throughout our stay — warm, responsive, and happy to help with anything from local tips to small requests for the two of us. Cleanliness held up well the entire time, with housekeeping keeping things fresh without ever feeling intrusive.

The location worked well too, with easy metro access and plenty of local restaurants nearby, while still being a short ride from Istanbul's main sights — great for exploring the city together. For a 16-night stay as a couple, it felt like genuinely excellent value.

Cons:

The only downside was some noise and dust from nearby construction during our stay, but this was clearly outside the hotel's control and didn't reflect on the property or staff at all.

The apartment was nice and private.

Cons:

The walls and floors are not al all sound resistant. We were kept awake by neighbors above and on one side several nights.

Pros:

We had a wonderful stay, and the staff were truly the game changer of this place. Everyone was friendly and made our experience much better. A special thanks to the parking attendant—he was the hero of our stay, always helpful and kind.Overall, a lovely experience thanks to the amazing staff!

Cons:

The only downside was that the laundry facilities didn’t dry the clothes properly. It would be great if the hotel could provide a dryer, even for an extra fee.

4.提供的說明資訊與照片與實際情況相符。
5.房間提供的點餐與送貨服務很方便，送貨或送餐人員會直接送達房間門口，付款也是送貨人員抵達時再付現金或者信用卡。另外，第一次使用的價格確實比直接外出購買貴，但第二次使用以後都會有40%的優惠，價格就會不比外出購買貴，這算是住宿的隱藏優惠。
