Great choice for a comfortable stay in Istanbul!

We had a very pleasant stay at Ottoman Luxury Hotel. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, and the location was ideal for exploring the city. The cleanliness was excellent and the breakfast was good, although it could have offered a little more variety. Overall, a great choice for a comfortable stay in Istanbul.

Cons:

Wir sind nachts angekommen und haben bereits am nächsten Morgen ausgecheckt, weil das Zimmer stark von den Bildern abwich und auf uns unhygienisch wirkte. Wir sahen Käfer und Flecken an den Wänden; auch die Betten und die Deckenlampe waren nicht sauber. Die Klimaanlage tropfte, und die Schränke waren durch das Wasser beschädigt.
Hinzu kam ein starker Toilettengeruch. Er kam aus dem Lüftungsschacht im Bad und zog selbst bei geschlossener Badezimmertür ins Zimmer.
Der Betreiber hat die Buchung zwar über Booking.com storniert, uns aber trotzdem drei Nächte berechnet, obwohl wir nur eine Nacht dort waren. Das war für uns eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung.

Poor due to broken aircon
Pros:

The location is really good. Walking distance to all the major attractions. Also a tram stop right outside the hotel.

Cons:

The air conditioning was not working. They mentioned that it will be fixed the next day or change the room. Neither was done. We had to leave the hotel to another at the end. Poor communication and commitment.
