Pros:

As a foreign guest, I really appreciated that the hosts speak English fluently.

Moreover, the place itself exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort and location.

Pros:

Posto affascinante stanza con affaccio sulla Mesopotamia, anche la stanza ad effetto con mobilio in finto storico in un edificio ricostruito. Stanza grande e doccia enorne.

Cons:

Scomodissimo, era in un vicolo di difficile accesso. Per trovarlo abbiamo dovuto chiedere informazioni alla gente. Il bagno.... terribile senza finestre.

Great place
Pros:

The hotel is al old 1m thick walled house. Absolutely magical.

Cons:

The hotel cancelled my booking due to "non arrival" and charged me their tariff in the morning, which is higher. And refused to return the difference. The house is sand stone so there's some sand falling everywhere all the time.

This my second stay at Ankahan and it was quiet and enjoyable
Pros:

My spacious room and the old Arabic bathroom and the service.

Cons:

Nothing. Every thing was good.
One have to climb 108 steps to reach the main road. This might be difficult for some people, but I enjoy it: Mardin is all about stairs and steps.

Dokuz kişilik ekibimizle konakladığımız Ankahan Konağından son derece memnun kaldık. Gerek odaların temizliği ve düzeni, gerekse ev sahiplerinin ilgisi ve misafirperverliği gerçekten çok iyiydi. Kendimizi evimizde gibi rahat hissettik. Grup olarak seyahat ettiğimiz için alanın geniş ve kullanışlı olması bizim için büyük bir avantaj oldu. Konum olarak da oldukça uygundu Merkeze 4 dk yürüme mesafesinde, ulaşım açısından hiçbir sorun yaşamadık. Kısacası, tekrar gelmeyi düşüneceğimiz ve gönül rahatlığıyla tavsiye edebileceğimiz bir yer. Özellikle Kamuran Beye gösterdiği ilgiden dolayı çok çok teşekkür ederiz.

Нам невероятно понравился отдых в этом отеле. Номер, терраса и вид были потрясающими. Турецкие завтраки просто выше всяких похвал. Работники в отели были добры, отзывчивы и всегда помогали с любым вопросом. Мы остались в полном восторге однозначно хотим вернуться!

Pros:

Het hotel is in een prachtig oud huis en alle kamers zijn in still en sfeervol gedecoreerd. De dakterrassen zijn een aanrader.
Het ontbijt is traditioneel en erg goed.

Cons:

Niks, maar het is goed om je er bewust van te zijn dat er geen auto's voor het hotel kunnen komen. Het laatste stukje naar het hotel moet je lopen over de trappen van de smalle steegjes.

The hotel is really nice and our room looked even better than on the photos. Hotel staff helped us a lot with our questions and they also speak english well. Breakfast is served very nicely in traditional way and tastes good. Would definitely choose this hotel again.

For sure I recommend the stay in this beautiful Konak 😍
Pros:

The property is a really konak, in eski mardin 😍, it is big with 3 terrace, our room was good, the breakfast also, the staff was so friendly and helpful ( specially Mr Mehmet, the worker in the kitchen 😍 and night shift staff) they were very welcoming and helpful, i loved the vibes of the hotel , thank you so much

Cons:

Unfortunately the stairs going to the hotel is far from the main road , specially with luggage going up or down , but the good thing is the stuff helped us during our arrival and leaving 😍
