The room was exactly like the photos.
Lots of natural light and the right amount of room - definitely not too small for two people!

This was a shirt walk from the main walking street in Taksim. I r3commend staying here for good value and cleanliness.

Cons:

The pillow was very lumpy so I suggest new replacements. However everything else was great.

You don’t stay here for luxury, you stay for Istanbul.
Pros:

This place is exactly what it says it is — nothing more, nothing less. The room was comfortable enough for one person and conveniently close to the vibrant heart of Istanbul.

I chose the area myself, and now that I know the city better, I’d probably stay somewhere a bit more central next time. Carrying a suitcase up four flights at 2 a.m. was a bit of a workout, but the host was attentive, honest, and genuinely helpful.

It’s good value for money: a clean, comfortable bed for exploring Istanbul by day. Just not the kind of place you linger in — especially not with an angry partner.

Cons:

There was a strong smell from the bathroom piping — not unusual in older buildings, especially in historic city centres. I’ve lived in places like this before, so I know it’s not really something that can be fixed without major work. It’s just part of the charm (and quirks) of old cities.

It also wasn’t exactly quiet, but that’s entirely due to the area — lively, full of life, and exactly as I was told it would be. I was also well warned about the stairs, so no surprises

Pros:

Hotel is located very close to Taksim and istiklal, owner was nice and very responsive. Room was nice as well. Definitely a good decision to stay here because especially at the offered price.

Cons:

Door to the room was really hard to lock from the inside, owner should definitely get that fixed because it took around 5 minutes and two people to lock the door every time, but other than that the hotel is very secure and comfortable.

Exceptional stay
Pros:

Everything was perfect , the location is very close to the bus station .. the room is very clean and the staff is very helpful and kind ,they respond to the whatsapp quickly and the bed is very comfortable.

Helpful staff
Pros:

We arrived really early and were hoping for an early check-in. We contacted them by WhatsApp, the customer service was on point with a quick answer. The location is good with bus stops and Taksim metro station nearby. The room was big with a kitchen and microwave, the big is spacious and the little couch near the window is really a plus.

Cons:

The towels had a few stains on them

Clean, comfortable, having everything necessary for making breakfast, very comfy bed, great location 2 min away from Istiklal, hotel manager being very responsive & following up with us for any requests we had & for HK services. We also appreciated early check-in. Very satisfied with our stay there

Great location. Clean. Just a little loud at night.

The apartment is in a great location near Taksim and Kabatas. Nice and clean and comfy. Great communication with host. Would happily stay again.

Cons:

It was right near the main road so very noisy at night. Pack earplugs!
