Meridiani Taksim Hotel

It was a wonderful stay in every way, and the best thing was the staff – friendly and professional. I especially want to mention Asaf, Mahmoud, and Mustafa. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I have never written a review on Booking.com before, but after staying at Meridiani Taksim Hotel for almost two weeks with my wife, I genuinely felt that this hotel and its staff deserved one.

Before travelling to Istanbul, we spent several days researching and comparing hotels because we wanted somewhere comfortable, reliable and reasonably priced for a longer stay. One of the main reasons for our trip was an appointment with VFS Global, and the location could not have been more convenient – VFS Global is literally right across the street from the hotel.

From the moment we arrived, the level of service was exceptional.

A very special thank you has to go to Mahmoud. We saw him practically every day throughout our stay, and he consistently went far beyond what we would normally expect from hotel reception staff. He was extremely friendly, professional, responsive and genuinely interested in making sure that my wife and I were comfortable and enjoying Istanbul.

Mahmoud helped us arrange transportation, including airport transfers, and was always available when we needed assistance. He gave us recommendations, explained different options for getting around Istanbul and suggested places to visit. Much of this was not something he was obligated to do – he simply wanted to help. That level of personal service makes an enormous difference when you are visiting a foreign country.

I sincerely believe Mahmoud deserves recognition from the hotel management for the way he treats guests. He represents hospitality at a very high level: professional, trustworthy, authentic and genuinely caring about the people staying at the hotel.

I would also like to thank Mustafa, who was very friendly and helpful, as well as everyone else working at reception and throughout the hotel. We felt welcomed and supported during our entire stay.

Regarding the room itself, what you see in the Booking.com pictures is what you actually receive. Our room was comfortable, clean and well maintained.

Ειναι τοποθετημένο κοντα σε δεκαδες επιλογες μεταφορικων μέσων. Το ξενοδοχείο είναι πολύ μοντέρνο και πεντακάθαρο. Ωραιο στρωμα και άφρατα μαλακα μαξιλάρια. Μας παρείχαν εμφιαλωμένο νερό κάθε μερα και υπήρχε μόνιμα βραστήρας για καφε και τσάι. Καφες παρέχεται δωρεάν και στο lobby. Το προσωπικό ειναι παντα τοσο εξυπηρετικό και ευγενικο που εκανε την διαμονη μας ανετη και ασφαλή.

Amazing stay! Modern, clean hotel with the best staff. Special thanks to Mahmoud, who was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond by helping ship my boyfriend’s forgotten AirPods to Bulgaria after several companies refused due to the battery. Truly exceptional service!

We were told that this is a criminal district but in general the location is good. Staff was friendly, helpful and helped resolve the issues. Breakfast also was good and hearty.
