Kate Hotel Special Class & Spa

The staff at the hotel were lovely, very helpful with kids and the cleaning staff do an amazing job. The beds were very comfy and the breakfast selection was good (yummy cakes) and it was also a lovely touch that they would top up your fridge with complimentary water bottles. The location is amazing, 4 mins walk from Medusa with Hagia Sofia and Sultanahmet right there. The location was great for us as a big family.

Excellent service

A estadia foi ótima. A cama super confortável e o quarto limpo. Contudo, o transfer para o aeroporto tinha que ser pago à parte em dinheiro e o motorista fez um desvio para tratar de um assunto qualquer e não deu qualquer justificação.

Front desk staff went out of there way to make us feel comfortable. They were exceptional in providing service. They got coffee for us early in the morning and arranged taxis when needed.

Staff is friendly, used airport transfer services, limited breakfast options. Room had garden (wall) view, but very quiet. The best part of hotel is close location to main attractions and many dining options around.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kate Hotel, the staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable. On the first night the room was slightly cold but this was sorted out very quickly. The location of the hotel was excellent with Sultanahmet just around the corner. The last day it was raining and the helpful receptionist let me borrow an umbrella which was very nice of her. The breakfast was great.

This was a really great hotel. The room was very comfy, beautiful, the bathroom spotless and the shower was amazing! It's also a great, central location, only steps away from all important sites. I really enjoyed my stay at Kate Hotel and will stay there in the future.

The stay was nice and the staff are friendly.
The rooms was cleaned everyday.
JUst found that it was lacking in storage and space but overall it was good place to stay.

Great location to the blue mosque and hagia Sofia in the sultanahmet area. And many restaurants around the hotel so lots of options for people and their budgets. The biggest attraction of the hotel was the staff - everyone was so lovely and they looked after our group well . Big thanks to the staff for making our stay and visit to the lovely Istanbul a wonderful memory to remember !!

Excellent location with many interesting places in walking distance, great staff.

I just didn'tlike the view of our room which was facing an old spooky building.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough for various reasons!

First and foremost is that it is literally within 3-7 minutes walking distance from most of the major attractions in Istanbul (Hagia Sofiya, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern and Topkapi Palace! Grand Bazaar is quite near too!

Food from the Kate Cafe is excellent as well as the service Izzet has shown. The hotel is surrounded by nice resturants with reasonable prices so you will never go hungry! :-)

Shopping for souvenirs will also not be a problem for you as it is surrounded by a lot of souvenir shops! So if you will not have time to visit Grand Bazaar, you've got yourself covered by just crossing the road from the hotel!

You are also just minutes away from the train station so Taksim is quite accessible if you fancy some night life :-)

Breakfast was ok. They have a live omelet station as well as cereals counter so i got the kids covered :-)


What I loved the most was the way we were taken care of by the hotel staff, Veyzel and Aydin! Thank you so much for ensuring we always have transportation to and from the airport as well as recommending a trusty tour guide for our Ephesus trip!

We all had an amazing holiday and with all that walking we had a wonderful place to rest and dine and get ready for the next day!

Looking forward to our next visit to Istanbul and you can assure that we will be booking with you once again!
