Excellent Stay
Pros:

Our 12-day stay in this hotel was wonderful!! The hotel is very conveniently located in the old city just minutes from the subway station. It is within a quick walk to the Grand Bazaar and other main places to visit. The manager Mevlet provides excellent and attentive customer service. Our rooms very beautiful, and we also enjoyed the breakfast at the hotel! Can’t wait to come back.

Pros:

Wonderful location in the heart of Istanbul … classically beautiful place with lovely art … great reception by Mevlut and his kind staff … delicious breakfast and excellent beds and spacious rooms. Strongly recommend !

A real gem in the heart of the city
Pros:

A beautiful ottoman era building in the heart of Istanbul. The team were fabulous and nothing was too much work for them

Pros:

This was an amazing find for us. Very cozy place and felt more like home than a hotel. The host was very welcoming and caring. I'd definitely go hear again, highly recommended.

Mixed Experience
Pros:

We stayed at this hotel, which is located in a quiet neighbourhood. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was good

However, there were a few downsides. The shuttle driver (who you pay €50 for and organised by the hotel) was watching a soccer game on his phone while driving, which raised serious safety concerns. When we mentioned it to the hotel, they explained it was an important game, but does that mean our safety was less important?

Additionally, our room was not well-maintained. The floor and bathroom basin were dusty, and the toilet lid wouldn’t stay up, making using the toilet uncomfortable as the lid leaned against your back. Unlike other hotels we've stayed at in Turkey, this one did not offer complimentary water or coffee in the room, which was disappointing.

Overall, while the staff and location are positives, the cleanliness issues and safety concerns left us with mixed feelings about our stay.
