Heerlijk verblijf in hartje Mardin!
Pros:

Wij hebben een heel prettig verblijf gehad in Carra Hotel in Mardin. De prijs-kwaliteitverhouding is uitstekend. Het ontbijt was inbegrepen en eerlijk gezegd hadden we niet veel verwachtingen, maar het was juist ontzettend lekker en uitgebreid. We hadden zelfs overwogen om ergens anders te ontbijten, maar dat bleek helemaal niet nodig.
De ligging van het hotel is perfect. Vrijwel alle bezienswaardigheden zijn op loopafstand, waardoor je de stad gemakkelijk kunt verkennen.
Daarnaast mochten we gratis gebruikmaken van de wasmachine, wat een fijne extra service was.

Der Gesamtaufenthalt war trotz mancher Hindernisse optimal.
Pros:

Das Frühstück war gut. Wir wurden am Tisch bedient.
Die Dachterrasse mit Blick auf Mesopotamien und Mardin war sehr schön. Die Angestellten waren bemüht und freundlich.
Die Lage des Hotels und die Umgebung waren wunderbar.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war sehr klein, hell und von der Straße her laut, aber sauber. Der Beginn für das Frühstück war zu spät. 8.30 Uhr, manchmal noch 15 Min. später. Der Wasserzulauf für den Spülkasten der Toilette ging nicht gut.

Pros:

The staff was great very helpful. Breakfast was good, a typical Turkish one. The facilities were good and clean, the rooms are a bit dated. Everything is in walking distance, but don't forget it's very hilly the city is on a hillside with fantastic views over the Plains. The city is good for two days, then move on.

Würde auf jeden Fall beim nächsten Besuch wieder in Carra Übernachten.
Pros:

Gastfreundliche und sehr nettes Personal. Die Aussicht auf der Dachterrasse war atemberaubend schön mit Blick auf Altstadt. Zimmer Klimatisiert und Stilvoll.

Super Aufenthalt!
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt mitten in der Altstadt von Mardin unterhalb der Burg. Von der Terrasse aus ein überwältigender Ausblick auf Mesopotamien. Alles fußläufig erreichbar.
Einen großen Dank an das Personal (Yusuf und Ismail). Beide sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vor allem Yusuf, der mir einen "cayli yogurt" gemacht hat. Yusuf "Yolun acik olsun"

Cons:

Wenn man mit dem Auto anreist muss man durch die engen Gassen in Mardin. Oder man parkt das Auto etwas weiter weg. Aber das Personal hilft einem sehr beim Parken.
