The hotel is in a good location in old Mardin. Walking distance from nice cafes, restaurants. Everything is accessible. The staff is very friendly.

Cons:

We didn't like that the staff didn't speak English. They speak Turkish and if you don't have Google Translate, it's hard to understand.

Super Service und gute Lage
Pros:

Mega Frühstück und super netter Gastgeber.
Die Lage ist auch sehr gut, alles schnell erreichbar. Wenn man nach Mardin kommt, sollte man allerdings auf Treppensteigen gefasst sein. Die Stadt liegt am Berg und dementsprechend fit sollte man sein, wenn man die tolle Aussicht auf Mesopotamien genießen möchte.

Cons:

Es gab leider kein Live TV. Aber kein Problem für uns.

Das Carra Hotel punktet mit seiner unschlagbaren Lage und einem super Personal, das wirklich herzlich und hilfsbereit ist. Man fühlt sich hier menschlich sehr gut aufgehoben.

Insgesamt ein empfehlenswerter Aufenthalt mit kleinen, jahreszeitlich bedingten Einschränkungen.
Pros:

Wir waren Ende März 2026 im Carra Konağı in Mardin. Das Hotel befindet sich in einem typisch historischen Steinhaus mit sehr schönen und authentischen Zimmern. Aufgrund der Jahreszeit war es jedoch recht kühl und durch die Feuchtigkeit teilweise etwas muffig.

Trotzdem haben wir uns insgesamt sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Personal war durchweg aufmerksam, höflich und hilfsbereit. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir Ismail, der uns vom Finden eines Parkplatzes bis hin zur Auswahl von Restaurants stets engagiert und motiviert unterstützt hat.

Das Frühstück war erstklassig und sehr vielfältig. Leider konnten wir es wetterbedingt nicht auf der Dachterrasse genießen, was bei besserem Wetter sicherlich ein besonderes Highlight mit toller Aussicht gewesen wäre.

Расположение отеля идеальное, до основных достопримечательностей можно дойти пешком. К самому отелю на машине не подъедешь, так как находится в старом городе, но сотрудники помогают встретить и проводить с чемоданами до основной улицы.
Сама комната была просторной, завтрак тоже был сытный в традиционном турецком стиле.
Сотрудники помогали во всех необходимых вопросах, подсказывали и показывали красивые локации.

Cons:

В момент заселения не оказалось горячей воды, но после некоторых махинаций со стороны сотрудников, ситуация была исправлена.

Insgesamt war es ein toller Aufenthalt.
Pros:

Das Carra Hotel war ideal gelegen, um Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen. Es war makellos sauber und unsere beiden Zimmer waren geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Betten waren unglaublich bequem und es gab sogar Möglichkeiten zum Beten. Das reichhaltige und köstliche Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen, und Tee und Brotkorb wurden stets aufgefüllt. Das WLAN funktionierte einwandfrei. Leider hat es während unseres Aufenthalts viel geregnet, sodass wir die Aussicht von der Dachterrasse nicht genießen konnten. Trotz der engen Straße begleiteten uns die freundlichen Angestellten zum Hotel und wir durften sogar direkt vor dem Hotel parken, was wir sehr zu schätzen wussten. Nach dem Auschecken durften wir unser Auto noch vor dem Hotel stehen lassen und wurden später, als wir es abholten, noch zu einem türkischen Mokka Kaffee eingeladen. Vielen Dank nochmal für den außergewöhnlichen Service!

Cons:

Durch einen Stromausfall in der Stadt fiel leider die Warmwasserversorgung der Therme aus. Wir bemerkten dies erst später, doch das Personal konnte das Problem schnell und unkompliziert beheben.

Hotel perfetto per girare Mardin, super consigliato
