Nice place, with issues
Pros:

Well located, good breakfast.

Cons:

Staff didn't share complicated parking details until we were caught in terrible traffic in town. It took over an hour to locate the car park. Also no hot water.

Отличное местоположение, вид с террасы на долину, очень сытный турецкий завтрак, гостепреимный и дружелюбный персонал, который всегда готов помочь. Спасибо, что ждали наше заселение до 12 ночи и координировали водителя, куда нас привезти :)

O destaque é o atendimento do gerente Ismail que organiza passeios e as vezes noutra a cidade.
Faz de tudo para agradar hospedes.

rua,pequeno,móveis e chuveiro antigos.
O maior produtor ê o pó que solta da parede:me sujou as roupas e pode virar um problema para vias aéreas.

L'accueil et le personnel est d'une gentillesse incroyable, ils ont toujours répondu présent quand on avait besoin.
Le petit déjeuner était sympa (traditionnel turc)
Emplacement top à 3 min du centre etde la rue principale. De plus, en plein milieu des Konak.
Chambre propre et correct.

One of the best konak in Mardin
Pros:

Very ancient historical konak, location is perfect, just 2-3 minutes to the general street, very warm, helpful staff especially Ismail, he show us all the places nearby, help with shopping with the reasonable price and was very kind and friendly. Highly recommend this place to stay.

The hotel is in a good location in old Mardin. Walking distance from nice cafes, restaurants. Everything is accessible. The staff is very friendly.

Cons:

We didn't like that the staff didn't speak English. They speak Turkish and if you don't have Google Translate, it's hard to understand.

Super Service und gute Lage
Pros:

Mega Frühstück und super netter Gastgeber.
Die Lage ist auch sehr gut, alles schnell erreichbar. Wenn man nach Mardin kommt, sollte man allerdings auf Treppensteigen gefasst sein. Die Stadt liegt am Berg und dementsprechend fit sollte man sein, wenn man die tolle Aussicht auf Mesopotamien genießen möchte.

Cons:

Es gab leider kein Live TV. Aber kein Problem für uns.

Pros:

Das Carra Hotel punktet mit seiner unschlagbaren Lage und einem super Personal, das wirklich herzlich und hilfsbereit ist. Man fühlt sich hier menschlich sehr gut aufgehoben.

Cons:

Allerdings gibt es bei der Hygiene und beim Frühstück noch deutliches Verbesserungspotenzial, um dem schönen Ambiente des Hauses wirklich gerecht zu werden

Insgesamt ein empfehlenswerter Aufenthalt mit kleinen, jahreszeitlich bedingten Einschränkungen.
Pros:

Wir waren Ende März 2026 im Carra Konağı in Mardin. Das Hotel befindet sich in einem typisch historischen Steinhaus mit sehr schönen und authentischen Zimmern. Aufgrund der Jahreszeit war es jedoch recht kühl und durch die Feuchtigkeit teilweise etwas muffig.

Trotzdem haben wir uns insgesamt sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Personal war durchweg aufmerksam, höflich und hilfsbereit. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir Ismail, der uns vom Finden eines Parkplatzes bis hin zur Auswahl von Restaurants stets engagiert und motiviert unterstützt hat.

Das Frühstück war erstklassig und sehr vielfältig. Leider konnten wir es wetterbedingt nicht auf der Dachterrasse genießen, was bei besserem Wetter sicherlich ein besonderes Highlight mit toller Aussicht gewesen wäre.
