Elegance House

Shower has very low water pressure. Looks new but overhead shower head doesnt seem to work so hand held shower head was my only option. The biggest issue was the noise. Tables and chairs being dragged around (from the cafe below or a room above or both) on both nights of my stay at 1 or 2am in the morning as well as being directly across from emergency hospital department so large groups gathering to smoke all night or motorbikes dwlivering food. The amount of orange light streaming into the room did make it feel like daylight. If you are a light sleeper or need it to be dark, then be aware. The hospital is outside of owners control but noise from cafe will happen every night at closing time I imagine.

Our stay was extremely unpleasant from the moment we arrived. First of all, there is no elevator, and we were not informed in advance. Carrying luggage upstairs was very difficult, especially because the stairs are poorly designed, unsafe, and not ergonomic at all. They do not meet normal safety standards and feel genuinely dangerous.

The hotel advertises a “city view”, but this is completely misleading. The room faces a hospital, with constant noise day and night. The location is also very bad unless you enjoy walking up a very steep hill every time you leave or return.

They also claim to have soundproof rooms, which is absolutely not true. You can hear people talking, walking, and moving in other rooms very clearly. The rooms are much smaller than shown in the photos, making them feel cramped and uncomfortable.

The room itself had many issues:

-The TV remote control was not working (dead batteries).
-The sink in the room was not connected to the water.
-The bathroom sink was broken and could not open or close properly.
-The toilet was loose and shaking, honestly feeling like it might break while using it. And, bidet nozzle is not working.
-No iron in the room, despite being listed as available.
-Daily cleaning service never came, even though it is clearly stated on their Booking.com profile.

The morning staff were rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. One staff member even asked us for extra money in a very strange way because there was a small coffee stain on the bed linen due to an accident. He insisted we pay for new linen. I told him to contact Booking.com, and if they found it reasonable, I would pay — but linen cleaning is part of a hotel’s responsibility.

El acceso a las habitaciones se efectúa mediante una escalera de caracol super estrecha. Subir y bajar con las maletas es bastante complicado y no dispone del ascensor. La habitación es muy pequeña. Estuve con mi pareja y apenas teníamos sitio para dejar las cosas. Y el cuarto de baño minúsculo. Prácticamente no queda espacio entre el inodoro y la pared así que hay que hacer malabares para poder usarlo. En general el baño es muy poco práctico, casi no hay espacio para poder moverse dentro.
