It was cold. The pool was also freezing.

It was cold and the blankets were thin. It was difficult to get additional blankets. In fact, they didn’t have any. So we froze.

Mero Mero was welcoming, with a great location, fans and AC that worked well, and that stunning pool in the rooftop. There is a cafe on the first floor with really wonderful homemade food, coffee, and juices, even with ample vegetarian options! Also - El Cuyo is a gem!

The hotel was great, but the room was very disappointing.

Cons:

The hotel itself is amazing, unfortunately we were very disappointed with the room - what was called "family deluxe room", where garden view was mentioned. Aside from being quite small, the biggest issue was the non-existing daylight, with the only window facing a wall/fence. No view at all and the only possibility how to see anything inside of the room, would be with the lights on, which especially in the morning was really uncomfortable. I would also recommend including a broom in the room, as there is a lot of sand from the beach everywhere.

Charmimg, rustic hotel in the heart of El Cuyo. Clean spacious rooms. Rooftop kitchen and palapa was a great place to relax, read a book and meet guests from all over the world. Truly enjoyed our stay.

Das Frühstück war mega mega gut. Die Lage auch. Nur hat mann keinen Strandabschnitt zur Verfügung.
Das macht es ein bisschen schwierig bei den Temperaturen. Da es keine Möglichkeit hat für Liegestühle geschweige den Sonnenschirme zu mieten oder zu benützen.

Cons:

Ich war masslos enttäuscht von Laura. Sie hat uns empfangen. Meine Tochter hat sich den Fuss gebrochen und Sie hat nicht einmal nachgefragt. Auch habe ich Ihr Bilder geschickt von der massiv dreckigen Bettwäsche, was Sie nicht mal interessiert hat. Ich fand Sie extrem daneben.

Pros:

Lovely hotel in the very center of El Cuyo. Easy communication with Laura and great recommendations. Steps from what you can consider a boring beach in Mexico. We enjoyed the rooms, the rooftop kitchen to prepare our breakfast. We haven’t used the pool.

Kamers zijn heel fijn. Laura was zeer behulpzaam en aardig en stond dag en nacht klaar. Ook het koffie tentje is leuk en je kan er heerlijk ontbijten.

Cons:

Het zwembad op het dak is wat aan de kleine kant. De zwembad area kan wel een update gebruiken. Niet super schoon water en de zitkussens zijn een beetje smerig. Ook de houtenvloer heeft even wat onderhoud nodig. Niet heel uitnodigend om te gaan zitten.
