The lake is beautiful but the access is very difficult and it is overpriced for the experience.

The location by the lake was beautiful.

Cons:

The road access is very difficult. The dirt road was challenging with numerous pot holes over about 1.5 km and would not be possible to use if it had been raining. The pool was not maintained and the water was not clear. The cabin was fine. We were the only guests. To get any food, you had to walk next door to an adjacent hotel that had a restaurant. The food there was excellent.

Pros:

No pudimos descansar porque estaban celebrando un cumpleaños hasta la 1 de la madrugada. La música altísimo. El encargado no hizo nada. Además la cabaña estaba llena de hormigas en la planta baja. Se lo comentamos al encargado y nos dio una escoba para que lo barrieramos.
Creo que no se puede decir más. Muy mal

Pros:

Je pense quand saison cet établissement est bien. En plein mois d’août la piscine est verte et non entretenue, pas de petit déjeuner tel qu’indiqué mais il sont adorable et l’hôtel a du charme. Nous avons eu la visite d’une mygale de 10cm de diamètre dans notre chambre. Heureusement ils sont intervenus rapidement (ne pas oublier qu’on est dans la jungle!) beaucoup de moustiques aussi mais, pareil c’est la saison des pluies ils n’y peuvent rien.
Le canapé lit du bas est juste. Et il manquait un lit en haut. Mais le cadre est beau.

Cons:

Pas de petit déjeuner tel qu’indiqué.
Pas de piscine car non nettoyé

Great cottage with perfect calm and beautiful environment - beware of mosquitoes!
Pros:

Incredible place above a beautiful laguna. Small cottages, greatly accomodated with a pool. The hut was simple but well equipped (fridge+freezer, A/C.
Great views. You have to trust the process when getting there because there is like 2km of trail and you start wondering if there really is a hotel at the but there are actually two! Adriano was nice and we could get the room earlier than expected.
The second place to stay has a restaurant and is literally 3mn away walking. Food is good.

Cons:

Beware of mosquitoes, come prepared, this is the only place in our Mexican/Yucatec journey where we got devoured. Nothing Adriano can do of course, you just have to know it.

Did not work great for us, but for a couple looking for something off the beaten track it’s very lovely
Pros:

The property is truly beautiful. It is extremely serene and tucked away from everything. The casita was really clean and well appointed.

Cons:

This is particular to my situation but a few things that made it less pleasant for us: the road to reach the hotel is very, very rough, full of really bad holes and gravel. We were towing a trailer, which in retrospect we should never have booked so far off the road, that’s on me. But driver beware.

The mosquitoes were really bad and really big. Really big.

We were not aware that the bedroom was upstairs and the bathroom was downstairs. My age makes that tricky.
