As a frequent business traveler, the Fairmont Century Plaza has long been my hotel of choice in Los Angeles. On a recent stay, I raised a few concerns with management about the quality of my experience…and I'm delighted to report that on my return visit this week, those concerns had been genuinely addressed. It's rare to find a hotel where leadership not only listens, but acts. That kind of responsiveness speaks volumes about the culture here. I want to single out manager Paul Defrienz, who truly exemplified what great hospitality looks like. Paul listened to my thoughts, was constructive around potential solutions and made sure follow up on my next stay. That level of care and accountability is exactly what keeps guests coming back.

Stunning hotel and spa. One of the most beautiful and so well equipped spas with a wide variety or wellness oriented beauty oriented treatments. The facility is unbelievable, steam, sauna, salt room, waiting room… all so luxurious and stylish. Felt like taking photos and videos everywhere I go…You can easily spend a day between the gym, spa facilities and treatment rooms. You have everything from traditional massages and facials to latest modalities and tech equipment. There is a fully charged recovery room with contrast therapy such as cold plunge and infrared sauna. Brands are very well curated, top European and US brands, but I also discovered several niche non - toxic brands and products I’ve never seen before, which was fun to test and learn about. Location is the best in LA, you are conveniently close to everything, yet not in the busiest intersection. Financial district, 5 min away from Beverly Hills attractions.
Getting a membership makes the most sense if you are local, strongly considering. Important to mention, everyone is nice and welcoming, makes an experience truly special.

Jatin and Billie at the Fairmont Gold Lounge makes us feel we're home away from home with their top-notch treatment, making everything nice and easy for our stays every month we visit. John and Armando are amazing and friendly. I come for business every 3 weeks and it's always a great experience.

The Fairmont has mastered the perfect mix of luxury and comfort. The staff made me feel genuinely welcome - they were incredibly helpful without being overbearing. Stunning place - the type of hotel that makes you want to extend your trip just to enjoy the property a little longer. Location is great too.

Excellent time at the Fairmont Century Plaza as always. John helped us get our bags to our room and gave us the perfect welcome and an expert overview of the amenities on property. Rooms are stunningly clean, service is kind and attentive, and the food and cocktails adorn the experience even further. We will certainly be back!

The Fairmont is TOP NOTCH!!! I had the pleasure of working with Billie Gianoukakis!!! I can’t say enough about this highly knowledgeable & skilled young woman. Billie coordinated all my spa treatments prior to my arrival, made sure everything was perfect with my accommodations, and is just an amazing resource for all your needs during your stay! Her correspondence skills are excellent. She truly made my stay so very special:) The Fairmont is fortunate to have such a valued employee. The entire staff at the Fairmont is so friendly & there for anything you need. The spa is world class & not to be missed. My daughter will be starting UCLA Medical School in August, and I cannot wait to stay the Fairmont again. I’m BEYOND impressed!!!

A very enjoyable stay all around.

From the moment we arrived, the level of thoughtfulness and personalization at the hotel stood out. Jordy was especially exceptional — anticipatory in every interaction and clearly committed to creating a memorable experience. Small details made a huge impact, from stocking the fridge with almond milk to having my favorite skincare brand, 111SKIN, ready in the room. The birthday touches were incredibly thoughtful as well: custom birthday pillows, handwritten birthday wishes from the hotel manager, and even a Fairmont Fit setup tucked neatly in the closet with a handwritten note waiting for us. The Hyperice recovery kit was another elevated touch that made the stay feel both luxurious and intentional.

The service throughout the property was consistently warm and genuine. Yvete at Lumière was unforgettable — engaging, attentive, and naturally welcoming. She actively listened, made thoughtful recommendations, and we bonded instantly over being from the Bay Area and our shared love of sourdough. Juanito at Lumière and Noah the host were equally wonderful and contributed to such a welcoming dining experience. Billie on the Gold Floor was also fantastic and made us feel incredibly well taken care of throughout our stay.

The wellness experience was equally impressive. The gym was spotless, with top-tier equipment and an overall pristine environment that made working out enjoyable. Anne Marie and Aisha delivered exceptional massage treatments and added another layer of relaxation and care to the visit.

One final detail that perfectly captured the level of hospitality: the doorman remembered my name. It’s these thoughtful, personalized moments that transformed the stay from excellent to truly unforgettable.
