Hotel MOCA NYC

We were there for ComicCon so it was a cheaper option. Very plain when walking in. So maybe more decoration? The rooms were very clean as well as the bathroom. TV options very limited unless you put in your own codes.for streaming channels. It was a bit further from the convention center than we wanted but it worked for the one night we were there. The woman that was working was very nice.

Pretty good hotel, just wish the swept underneath the bed, we found a syringe underneath it

The room was dirty, no WiFi, the tv didn’t work, the room didn’t have any heat

A/C was great but the bathroom looked awful no one cleaned the room each day and it didnt have a safe and secure feeling. Like you could get robbed in your room type of feeling.

Elevator is not in a good condition. My door has signs of being broken. Smells like smoke. Noisy because it's beside the fire station. Would not recommended.

Property looked very run down, bed felt more like a fold out bed not comfortable at all. Surrounding area very unsafe was even told not to be outside after dark. No housekeeping at all

Unfortunately, we didn't find the room and hotel to be in very clean condition. The water pressure was extremely low, and the floor was dirty when we got in. The AC was also not working, so the balcony door saved us. The phone in the room was broken.

The staff did what they could to help and were very accommodating and friendly, but the price of this hotel is way too high for what you get for a room.

Overall the place is absolutely horrid

I liked everything. I had a good stay.

It smelled. There was hair on the bed. The ceiling was leaking. I have no idea how and why this place is open.

Great service

Bed bug bites all over me the next day. In the morning as soon as the sun rose there were these bugs flying all over the room. I have no idea what they were but they kept landing on me and it was gross. I showered and left as soon as I could.

The staff was very personable and helpful. The room was comfortable, but small. Overall, about what I expected for the price. Very reasonable for staying in Manhattan.

Great stat

The bed is horrible! It’s really like a thick cot, it’s very squeaky any move you make. My blanket had stains on it. They did remake my bed with new sheets and blanket. The baseboards are DIRTY! The curtains didn’t close all the way, the whole thing wasn’t connected to clips.
The room is very tiny! The shower was the only good thing about it, and that was a basic stand up shower but clean.

I felt unsafe

The hotel was very dirty. The room was not properly constructed. The wall was falling down at the top. The towels were dirty. I will never stay here again.

It was ok

The hotel doesn't look old however , the room look outdated, it was okay clean but not deeply clean, I couldn't walk barefoot, the view was beautiful but they tinted the windows for some crazy reason ...
