Great hotel. Nice large pool - only catches the sun for a short time. Clean room, huge bed and very comfortable. Breakfast was very small - mostly Thai options. Toast available. Coffee machine was great.
The Peacock de Pai hotel is modern and nice hotel placed on the main road close to the city center with many restaurants around. Hotel offers nice swimming pool, space and comfortable beds and buffet breakfast. And that’s all for really low costs. We will enjoy our stay and we definitely will come back to this hotel again in our next stay in Pai.
The breakfast was cold. The shower needs to be updated.
Clean rooms, friendly staff, nice pool and the complementary breakfast was awesome! This is my second stay and I will stay there again!
The room was nice but EXTREMELY cold, even without A/C. We had an ongoing issue with our shower - I alerted staff in the morning and by the time we returned in the evening it still hadn’t even been looked at which was really annoying as they had all day to fix it but clearly didn’t pass the message on.
When I mentioned it the second time they sent someone to fix it but it still didn’t work. I asked to move rooms and the staff asked us to pack all our things up, leave them in reception and check into a new room later on which personally I didn’t think was acceptable as our current room was not useable so we should have been able to keep our things there and change at our own pace after a tour, rather than waste our time packing everything up because of the hotels error.
I did try and explain we were going on a tour so actually didn’t have time to pack and move but they didn’t seem to understand.
Just really frustrating that I had to complain three times about the shower not working properly and the issue didn’t get resolved and I wasn’t offered a reasonable solution. Also the threshold for the shower was horrific meaning the bathroom flooded every time we attempted to have a freezing cold shower - the cleaners did not mop the bathroom properly so there was always a puddle of water by the bin and toilet.
Pretty disappointing overall.
Really nice property. Clean room. 10 min easy walk to town. It is set back from the main road so quiet to sleep at night. Staff were nice. The hotel looked so nice decorated for the lantern festival and the staff helped us to send off our own lanterns! It was such a fun experience.
When you shower the whole bathroom is wet, the toilet keeps running after flushing, hairs on the bed, sand on the floor, the room smelled horrible and it was very noisy. When I complained at the reception all I got was “sorry sir”. I’m not a sir..
