I like its beautiful facilities and thoughtful design, making it a visually appealing choice. The reception staff were welcoming, and the parking attendants even used flashlights to guide us safely back to our room every evening, which was a nice touch.
However, our experience was marred by several issues. We were assigned a ground floor-level two-bedroom suite, and one bathroom's hot water heater malfunctioned on our first night. With nighttime temperatures in Hua Hin around 22 degrees only, taking a cold shower was uncomfortable, especially for the elderly in our group. Although maintenance responded quickly and fixed the issue, it recurred the following night, forcing us to share one bathroom.
We also booked a Thai massage service, but the therapists seemed inexperienced and rushed, which was disappointing. Additionally, the quality of food at the hotel restaurant was average. On our third day, we ordered breakfast to our room, but the pancakes were hard and dry, and the fruit platter included spoiled watermelon.
In summary, while the hotel’s facilities are impressive and justify the price, the service needs improvement. With better maintenance, training for staff, and attention to food quality, this hotel could truly enhance the guest experience.

My family had a 3D2N perfect stay at the hotel. I had high expectation for the hotel before arrival and the place didn’t disappoint me a bit.
The property is very beautiful, both inside the villa and the outside garden, not to mention its interesting history. The place is well kept with many staffs taking care of all functions, though it is considered a small hotel. The service is great and attentive. Water dripping from air conditioners in our room was quickly attended and fixed in no time.
The breakfast is wonderful, served with a la carte menu that you can order as much as you want, and undoubtedly delicious. A dinner at Pawan restaurant was also a delight experience for us.
Our son enjoyed water sport activities available here; including swimming pool, paddle board and kayak.
Beyond anything, Kao Tao is an area that had been visited and developed by King Rama 9, who we much cherish in our hearts and memories.
I will surely return and highly recommend my friends to stay here.
