Wonderful hotel. Top notch service, the food was great, the suite we had was phenomenal with a great balcony view. Heated pool was awesome. Great location to walk, explore and to get to the ferry . Can’t say enough about this hotel.

We were attracted to Ara Maris Hotel based on its modern decor (which differentiates it from other luxury hotels in Sorrento) and its central location (which was perfect). However, what really makes the hotel special is its staff who were all welcoming and helpful. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a Deluxe Room and this was extremely comfortable with a large balcony that overlooked the pool area. Breakfasts were lovely and relaxed, while the Sky Lounge is a fantastic place to drink cocktails as the sun goes down. We also had a great evening meal in the main restaurant which had good food and even better service. For those looking for a luxury boutique hotel, this would be hard to beat.

Exceptionally clean, brand new, beautifully finished and sparkly!

We stayed at Ara Maris for 3 nights with a friend, and honestly, it was far too short – we didn’t want to leave! The hotel is beautiful, cozy, and located in a perfect spot to explore Sorrento and the surrounding areas.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptional – warm, helpful, and genuinely kind. A special thank you to Giulia at the concierge – she went above and beyond to help us make the most of our short stay. Thanks to her, we had an amazing tour and a car arranged to take us along the stunning Amalfi coast. That experience alone was unforgettable!

The rooftop bar and restaurant is truly something special – not just for the views, but the whole atmosphere, service, and absolutely delicious food. It was one of the highlights of our stay.

We also really enjoyed the breakfast, which had a great variety and was served by such lovely staff. Everyone we interacted with made us feel truly welcome.

If I had to say one “negative,” it’s only that three days were not enough. We’re already dreaming about coming back for a longer stay. Highly recommended!

A fantastic hotel set in the heart of Sorrento. We were warmly welcomed by all the staff and made to feel very special. The hotel is modern and very comfortable with a very nice pool area (sadly too cold to use at this time of year). We stayed for the NY celebrations which were great fun, amazing food and great entertainment.
Our room was great, so many times when we travel there is never enough storage space eg wardrobes/ drawers etc, this was probably one of the best appointed rooms we have stayed in. More importantly very comfortable. We would not hesitate to stay again. Highly recommended.

Unbelievable Hotel, the staff are fantastic. We arrived early evening to be greeted by the great reception team and offered a welcome drink, which we declined due to our late arrival. We were swiftly shown to our room and we were shown the room and working of controls. our bags were delivered by the porter and we didn’t have time to unpack before housekeeping arrived to ensure that everything was as expected.
We dined that evening and the food is devine. Yes it does come at a cost but it is worth the money.
The rooms are brilliant. The staff fantastic and so friendly. The detail is on point. The views from the rooftop bar amazing .
It was my wife’s 50th birthday and they made a bespoke cake at our last breakfast for her - we hadn’t mentioned it was her birthday. This had been picked up by the staff. We were genuinely touched by the gesture.

The property is really modern with top of the art amenities (rooms in AC, modern lighting, blaconies etc), it also has a great location and the staff is so helpful! Not only do they make you feel very welcome and relaxed but their concierge and service is top notch

The Ara Maris is the perfect hotel for your stay in Sorrento. The property is stunning, rooms are well appointed, spacious & comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful with great variety. The staff is warm, welcoming and helpful. Guisy, Valentino, Gianluca & Niccolo were fantastic hosts.

El servicio de transfer hasta el puerto para coger el ferry a Capri, nos pareció todo un acierto y el gimnasio y las instalaciones de todo en general, super bien. Muy buena opción para alojarse en Sorrento.

The hotel was very average - very very expensive for just ‘okay’. We had issue with cleanliness, noise in rooms and aircon was not working. Management were not helpful. Was average and would expect more from 5 star. We stayed for five nights and found the service and breakfast average also. Rooms very small.

Great location, exceptional staff

Fantastic customer service. Welcomed with a drink, bags taken up to room and a personal tour of the hotel and our smart room. Very clean room and wonderful breakfast. We had such a wonderful view and relaxing vacation.
