Hotel Palazzina Sardi

The best hotel during our trip to Italy. Hotel is beautifully decorated and is in a perfect location near St. Marks square. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Highly recommend.

I’ll be honest: I am a chronic skeptic when it comes to online feedback. I usually ignore the five-star ratings, scroll straight to the negative reviews to see the 'real' story, and assume half of what I’m reading is generated by bots. However, I am writing this because Hotel Palazzina Sardi is the rare exception that deserves every bit of praise it gets. This is a 100% genuine account of a flawless stay.

The location is unbeatable—situated in the very heart of Venice, just a stone’s throw from St. Mark’s Square. Despite being surrounded by the city's best restaurants and vibrant energy, the hotel is tucked away on a charming, quiet street that offers a peaceful sanctuary from the crowds.

The interiors are stunningly renovated, blending modern luxury with classic Venetian soul. Our suite featured a breathtaking roof mural that felt like a private piece of art. The attention to detail is evident everywhere; the rooms are large, impeccably clean, and, a rarity in Venice, there is a reliable elevator. Even the bathroom was a highlight, boasting excellent water pressure.

What truly sets this hotel apart is the service. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to an Executive Room and greeted with a bottle of champagne. Andrea at the reception was a highlight, providing us with a tailored map and an insider’s guide to the city. The breakfast experience was equally impressive; the chef was incredibly attentive, preparing eggs to order and serving perfect espressos. Even when we had to depart early on our last day, the staff went above and beyond by having a breakfast goody bag ready for us.

If you’re like me and searching for the 'catch', don't bother. This place is the real deal.

Close to the water for easily taking heavy bags to the water taxi. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is very close to some of the best restaurants and sights but tucked away from the main foot traffic. It was a lovely experience.

Beyond expectation. Its boutique hotel in exceptional good location. Just 3 minutes from a water taxi pier that gets you from the Airport and 5 minutes walk from main square of San Marco. Fantastic breakfast, the lady that takes care about breakfast is wonderful. Except veggies and gluten free bred you can ask for extra prepared choices that are in menu. Not that i need but Proseco is also served. The room and bathroom is nice modern design. They also have small roof top to enjoy day and evenings chill. Service at the reception is top quality. We get to talk to 3 people at the reception and all of them so nice and helpful. I will come back.

Every aspect of our stay was excellent and we will surely return in the future. The breakfast was also outstanding.

This was a perfect location. We had a beautiful room with a view of a canal, walking distance to all the main attractions, but off the beaten path just slightly great restaurants and shopping nearby and the hotel itself the staff was outstanding. Very friendly, breakfast was wonderful in the morning, staff gave us directions to different things really can’t say enough about this hotel. It was just recently renovated so the accommodations are finished so beautifully.

A big big thank you to your reception staff who gave us all the information we needed to venture around Venice and beyond. The room was cleaned to perfection every day and not to forget the breakfast staff who again nothing was too much trouble. Fully recommend this hotel and the location is just perfect.

Very enjoyable stay in a beautiful authentic Palazzo in a quiet area close to the Piazza San Marco - but out of the most touristed areas. The staff went our of their way to be helpful and responsive to all requests. Excellent AC during a hot spell. Venice is so nice now that the water locks are protecting the city.

Fantastic Hotel close to St. Mark’s Square. It is a little way off the main tourist street with good restaurants close by. Nice size clean rooms & the staff were extremely helpful too. We really enjoyed our stay there!
