Neptuna Kata Hotel

There are so many cheap hotels in this resort. Do no use this one. Our room was 510. It smelled horrible of those round things they put in urinals, the fridge was filthy, there was no window in the room which made it really oppressive to sleep in, there is a cleaning area round the corner from the room so we were woken early by the noise of buckets clattering and water running on the other side of the wall. There is no Wi-Fi in the room, the reception area is really unwelcoming. The location is noisy and there's a really busy road outside.

Was nice hotel. Good location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Clean. Best place if you like to chilling out every evening. Some ladyboys staying sometimes on the left side of entrance, bit annoying every time to say.. "Thanks a lot but i'm straight"

I found the staff friendly, and helpful. The air conditioning was good and it had a comfortable bed. It is very close to Bangla Road and the nightlife. I found the hotel to be quiet and was able to get good sleep. If you are single and find a friend to join you, they do not charge a "joiner fee" which some hotels do. It was a good hotel for the price. I have my favourite breakfast places so did not try the food at the hotel, so unable to comment on that.

This hotel is perfect if you are looking for somewhere cheaper to stay!! My patner and I stayed here twice when we were living in thailand and both times we found it to be perfect for us! It's walking distance to Bangla Rd, many shops and the beach. The rooms are spacious and bathrooms are nice. Large smoking areas are provided outside of the rooms. Pool is small but nice and clean.

I've stayed 10 days at Kata Beach at the Neptuna Hotel.
I've payed around 4000 baht (100 EURO) for my stay, which was alright.

Location:
The location of the hotel is very good, if you want to do some party and other nightlife.
Just around the door you will find the typical thailand bars with all the nice ladies etc. (could be a bit loud at nighttime!) Not very suiteable if you are staying with kids or searching for a place to rest. Nice restaurants and shopping facilities around the hotel. You need around 10 minutes walk to the beach.

Hotel:
The Hotel has a tiny reception area with Wi-Fi and computers. The staff was always friendly and helpful.
I had a single room with ensuite bathroom. It was average clean, some dead spiders and little ants in the bed!!!!!!
The rooms are coming with tv and fridge.
Bathroom seemed to be new and clean!
Enough space for luggage.

Overall I regret that I spent that much time at Kata Beach/Phuket.
The beaches are not that nice still after the tsunami.
And it is more a party location and not suiteable for holiday.

To judge the hotel.
All over it was fair for the price I paid.
It is a backpacker accomodation. Not a Hotel to spent your holidays.

Even some rooms smell badly rooms with windows are ok. Night time a bit noisy. Free breakfast contains toast bread, butter and jam with tea or coffee. Better than nothing. Have to mention receptionists. The guy said 'full' to my frirnd. But after few minutes i asked another guy and found 3 rooms suddenly. The receptionist lady is extremly helpful but stay away from boys.

If you like a good nights sleep ask for one of the back rooms! Stayed here twice in 2014 then again in 2015! Nice Central location, very good price, rooms, sheets, towels consistently cleaned every day can't fault it in that respect! If you're looking for a cheap clean central location and you're on a budget this is a great place to go! Don't forget rooms at front of hotel are extremely noisy!

Good location, 10 min Walk from the beach... The staff was very unfriendly. Simple breakfast, 7-11 near and a lot of restaurants and shops.
Very noisy. No room view. You need to pay a deposit higher than the cost of One Night. At least you have hot shower.

The Hotel itself is clean and tidy, the maid does a fantastic job.

Great location and very cheap if you want somewhere to rest your head after partying...situated near one of the loudest bars with loud music pumping until 4.30 so bring your earplugs!

Water went off 3 times during my stay but the biggest complaint is the rudeness of the staff.

Breakfast is coffee and toast and jam.

Perfect of looking for no frills and extremely cheap place to stay.

You will be "welcomed" without a smile nor a hello. Then you will be asked 2000bahts for "damaged deposit room". No window in the room, no wifi, smell bad...
Another point is the 5th floor balcony which could be nice but used to organise party at night and so you will not be able to sleep before 2-3AM.
