Grateful for the complimentary upgrade for my companion's room
Pros:

A decent breakfast buffet with plenty of choices. The inclusive breakfast choices were limited but OK. Very nice rooftop - would love to have had breakfast available up there. The standard double room was basic but acceptable. Comfortable bed. Robe, slippers & towels were good. Steamer was a nice addition but it was full of lime scale and didn't work properly.

Cons:

Minor comments: The window drapery was a little damaged and there was a long gouge mark on the floor that hadn't been attended to (probably from prior guests' luggage?). Limited mini-bar options. No in-room information.

Convenient, Good Location, Overrated, Expensive
Pros:

The location of this hotel is superb as it is a short walk to famous Roman sites like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and Monumento Nazionale a Vittorio Emanuele. The hotel has decent facilities. It is clean, and the staff is helpful.

Cons:

The gym is very small. It has a glass floor that shows the ancient ruins beneath the foundation, .but the gym facility is minimal. the breakfast is disorganized. Overall, the hotel is a four-star hotel that claims to be a five-star hotel. Its cost is justified by the excellent location, but compared to five-star hotels in less touristy European cities, it doesn't hold a candle.
