Schöne Lage, ruhig und erholsam, schöne Terrasse, Zimmergrösse i.O. mit allem was man braucht. Sauber und Wasser/Dusche funktioniert einwandfrei.
Personal zuvorkommend und freundlich. Ausgiebiges Frühstücksbuffet. Guter Kaffee.

Cons:

In Badezimmer, Zimmermöblierung und vor allem Wellness sollte dringend investiert werden.
Kosmetikbehandlung sosolala - undefinierbare Pflegeprodukte. Wellness bestand aus zwei veralteten Jacuzzibädern, wo die Aussenwand abblätterte, und einer Sauna (neueren Datums). War aber alles sauber.
Aussenlift zum Pool war des öfteren defekt.
Abendbuffet für EUR 40 dürftig (kein Fleisch oder Meeresfrüchte sondern Spaghetti und Stockfisch). Wein ist teuer.
Am Frühstücksbuffet frische Früchte vermisst - nur Dosenobst.
Trinkwasser auf dem Zimmer nur am 1. Tag. Terrasse ohne Sonnenschirm mit 2 Plasticliegen, ohne Matte. Bei voller Sonne ist die Terrasse nicht zu gebrauchen. Schade.
Die über EUR 200 pro Tag für ZI/F und die 4* sind nicht ganz gerechtfertigt.

A wonderful stay - we would definitely come back!
Pros:

We had a fantastic stay at Baia Taormina and enjoyed every moment. The room was lovely, the view was beautiful, and the pools and little hidden corners around the hotel made the whole place feel so special. We really loved the authentic Sicilian atmosphere and the relaxed, welcoming vibe.

A special thank you to the amazing staff, who made our stay even better. Everyone at reception and in the dining room was lovely, Fabio and the bar team for their warmth and friendliness, the lovely lifeguard, who was so kind and welcoming. These little personal touches really make a difference and made us feel so comfortable throughout our stay.

One thing to keep in mind is that the hotel is not in Taormina town itself, but in a nearby village about a 20 minute drive away. We actually loved this! It was peaceful and relaxing, with beautiful surroundings, and still close enough to visit Taormina whenever we wanted.

We left with wonderful memories and would happily return. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the charm of Sicily.

Cons:

The elevator that takes one down to the pool level was out of service an that made hard on a senior to use a number of stairs to get there. When asked if is scheduled for service the answer was that they don’t know when because the part they needed comes from a foreign country.

Old, worn out hotel undeserving of 4 stars
Pros:

We've stayed at this hotel before and loved it. But it has aged badly.

Cons:

This hotel should have been closed and renovated before it reopened. Antiquated Shower dispensed hard drops of water. A/C stopped working mid-night. Window shades were stuck open. Elevator to the pool was broken. Long stairway to the pool has splintered support rails. Antiquated hair dryer on wall.

Fantastische Aussicht und freundlicher Service – mit etwas Orientierungstraining
Pros:

Die Lage am steilen Hang bietet eine unglaublich schöne Aussicht auf Strand, Meer und Umgebung. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein Page zeigte uns den günstigsten Parkplatz für unser Zimmer und brachte das Gepäck aufs Zimmer. Die zahlreichen Parkplätze sind über das Gelände verteilt.

Das Frühstücksbuffet war umfangreich, der Cappuccino an der Bedientheke sehr gut. Das Abendbuffet fanden wir ordentlich, obwohl wir grundsätzlich keine Buffetfans sind. Besonders gut waren die frisch zubereiteten Teigwaren, Fleisch- und Fischgerichte an der Bedientheke.

Cons:

Das Hotel ist stellenweise etwas renovierungsbedürftig. Die Zimmer verteilen sich auf verschiedene Terrassen, je nach Lage muss man mehrere Lifte benutzen. Die Orientierung ist eine Herausforderung: Wer sein Zimmer ohne Umweg und ohne sich zu verlaufen findet, verdient eine Medaille! Der Cappuccino aus dem Automaten konnte mit demjenigen an der Bedientheke überhaupt nicht mithalten.

Hotel stay at Baia Taormina
Pros:

We stayed here for 5 days and all aspects about of our stay were absolutely amazing. Firstly I’d like to say that the hotel receptionist staff themselves were all so helpful in helping us find excursions and making sure all our needs were properly met. Stefania was an excellent person in giving us information on where to go for nice places to go see. I would also like to point out how the restaurant staff were very friendly and the service was exceptional. These people I would like to point out as I really liked how they treated us - Franco, Salvo, Davide and Laura. I am so glad that we went to this particular hotel as it was a pleasure staying there and I would love to come back!

I would like to give a special mention to Rosario, the bar manager at Baia Taormina Hotel.

He is truly exceptional — professional, friendly, and incredibly attentive. From the very first moment, he creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable and valued as a guest.

His drinks are excellent, and the way he interacts with people shows real passion and care for what he does. Rosario even surprised us with a complimentary glass of champagne, which was such a thoughtful and elegant gesture.

It’s rare to meet someone who genuinely elevates your experience like this. Thank you, Rosario!
