Best beds and pillows in Mexico. They supplied shampoo and conditioner. Rooms were quiet. The staff were so helpful. Eddy at the door was always ready to assist us. The breakfast was great. Ample choice and quantity. I wish all hotels were this nice. The photo is from my bedroom. Great views.
There wasnt a kettle in my room to make tea. Room service tea was a bit expensive.
We had a great stay. The staff has been welcoming, attentive, and available from the first to the last moment. The building is splendid, an historic building renovated with style. Room spacious, big bed, and we could enjoy a great view. Breakfast was a buffet with option for all tastes, abundant and with quality products.
Helpful, friendly staff. Comfortable room in good condition, comfortable beds. Excellent full breakfast with many options. Great location in Centro Historico. The free chocolates near the check in desk are super yummy and made on site.
No suggestions. Exceeded our expectations.
Amazing old building, well restored. Rooms were fine but in a modern extension at the back. Breakfast was good when you worked out how to get what was on offer.
It was all a bit weird; it seems to have been done up in anticipation of corporate conferences and fancy weddings that weren't happening. The rooms were anonymous and white, but absolutely fine, which didn't fit the grand and beautiful structure of the property. Unfortunately we were woken up by some guests arriving back at the next door room at 0215, which the receptionist seemed to deal with quite quickly, but given how empty the place was, why did they put everyone on the same floor? Generally the staff were nice and helpful when approached, but otherwise tried to keep away from the guests.
Location, friendly staff, car parking
Limited breakfast options, the ‘swimming’ pool is a plunge pool at best
La ubicación y zonas comunes
Cortina en la ducha en un hotel de esta categoría no debería estar permitido.
El desayuno muy escaso y poco variado.
El personal, limpieza y buen desayuno
Sin queja alguna
The Breakfast was always very good and the waiters were excellent, especially Leon and Lalo and Mario.
The Front Desk usually had one person that spoke English.
There were lots of Restaurants and Shops within 6 blocks of the Hotel.
The hotel music was not very nice to listen to....lots of drumming and pounding. We asked on several occasions for them to play Easy Listening Music that was either Instrumental or Singing. The Front Desk Employee said that the Hotel Manager wants only his selected music played. They did play piano music one day including Christmas Music which was the Manager's way of telling us that only their music will be played from 8:00 in the morning to 10:00 pm. We always thought that the hotel music should be appealing to the paying guests.
Also the pool on the 4th floor was not usable and very small....the water was cold and the hundreds of pigeons that bathed and drank in it made it unclean. The whole area around the pool was poorly decorated and NO umbrellas for shade.
The building (renovated 2 years ago) is very impressive as it combines modern with the old grand houses it comprises. It is also designed as an art space. While the gray may be bit austere, the main houses have been renovated to their former glory. All the staff were attentive, helpful and patient. The breakfast was simple but excellent and we were offered more or less whatever we asked for in addition to the buffet. The room was similarly modern minimalist but clean and efficient with a lovely view towards the north
My wife said the pillows were a bit lumpy, there was no hair dryer and no other hot drink or cold fridge facilities.
