Durango 219

We loved staying here! Located close to many restaurants, cafes, and bars. Easy to get anywhere in CDMX via Uber. Beautiful tree lined street, taco stands close by. Highly rated cafe across the street. Room was clean, comfortable bed, and they accommodated a late night check in. Daily cleaning. Balcony was a bonus. Would stay here again.

This property is nothing like they described it; this is a place without any carbon monoxide alarm which can be extremely dangerous with recent tragedies of people passing away in their sleep because of carbon monoxide poisoning. If you care about your personal safety, you can either avoid this place or bring your own alarm to prevent unnecessary tragedy while on vacation.

Now, to be honest the area is great and quiet with a lot of restaurants around and nice boutiques/cafe and museums.

The hotel is very small more like a house turned into hotel type. We had a 3 nights but left after the first day and abandoned the other 2 nights for our sleep safety. We haven’t got a refunds but better be safe than sorry.

The location is fantastic and the restaurant downstairs seems incredibly popular (hence high noise levels), and we tried the food one night and it was pretty good. The lift to the room is separate to any kind of "front desk" so it feels more like an Airbnb in that you don't really see any faces and so it's hard to comment on service. The room was smaller than appeared in the photo but clean and tidy. Shower worked well but note the hot water takes quite a while to kick in! Location is the main draw here.

Great stay and would recommend for a comfortable, central location

Nancy was a great host and responded to all our questions in a timely manner. The area is convenient and walkable with many famous restaurants and convenience stores nearby. There were mosquitoes in our room every night so be careful and it does get loud on the weekends due to a popular restaurant being on the first floor. Overall, we would stay here again!

Aside from the two good options at the hotel there are plenty option nearby within walking distance. The bed was comfortable, however, around the hotel can be very nosey during the evening and early mornings.

I took a solo trip to CDMX and as a female traveler I felt extremely safe in this area. It is very walkable, near metro, bars and restaurants. Staff was very helpful and my experience was great. It is important to download Whatsapp as that is the way of communicating with staff. Room was great, clean and spacious. At night it does get loud as there are bars near by & traffic in the AM. Can't wait to revisit.

Our stay at Durango 219 was perfect! The location is incredibly convenient and safe, and having two on-site restaurants with good food and service was a major plus. The room was clean and well-equipped with comfy beds and good air conditioning. I also loved having a private balcony! The staff was very helpful and communicative. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and recommend it to anyone visiting Mexico City.

Check in was easy and the staff was friendly and easy to communicate with. The room exceeded my expectations and the location is perfect for walking to various parts of the city. Restaurants on the roof and ground floor were also great.

Overall good experience. As others point out you will not have solitude and quiet here. The corner is bustling and busy especially Friday and Saturday. There is loud music from competing businesses. The room is comfortable: has a little Nespresso machine and 2 pods replaced daily. A pitcher of clean water is also provided. Room is serviced daily. The sliding balcony door did not lock. The mechanism is broken. We used the room safe constantly.

Super comfortable beds. Spacious room with 2 queen beds and a nice bathroom. Would recommend staying here!

Amazing as a solo traveler

Very flexible and nice rooms

Not all rooms have a/c so I was surprised when it was adverstised as such and my room had a fan. It was early April so not too hot yet but during the daytime it sure was hot and stuffy. At night I opened the bathroom window.
So, I would not stay here over summer or hot periods, in case the room assigned has zero aircon.

Walls were very thing but was very clean, and in a perfect area!

It has 2 restaurants on location and the restaurant downtown stairs, Babero is a 5 star restaurant. It has amazing food & great service!

We had a wonderful stay. The room was large and airy, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was modern. The location is in the heart of Roma Norte with fantastic dining and shopping at the door step. We will stay at this hotel again for our next visit to Mexico City !
