La cama era muy cómoda, la habitación era bastante amplia y la ambientación general estaba muy bien. La ubicación es excelente para recorrer el centro histórico, pero por la noche no hay mucha actividad.
El desayuno no era ni bueno ni malo sino meh... La atención del personal no era la mejor (excepto por Fernanda, quien nos recibió y nos atendió muy bien).
En el sector todo cierra temprano, entonces para una persona nocturna no es el lugar adecuado.
Location, and the concept of the hotel.
Beds are too small for two people, no ac or good fan. Mosquitoes inside the room. Maybe when they clean the room they leave the door open.
Sicuramente la posizione centrale e la tipicità dell'albergo sono gli aspetti più apprezzabili. Le camere sono spaziose e pulite e, anche se arredate minimamente, c'è tutto ciò che può servire. Buon rapporto qualità-prezzo.
la mancanza di completa separazione tra bagno e camera penalizza un po' la privacy. in camera sarebbe stato utile un vero armadio e non un piccolo mobiletto. L'aspetto sicuramente migliorabile è comunque la colazione dolce: apprezzabile la colazione messicana salata ma la completa mancanza di pane, biscotti e qualcosa di dolce è, a mio modo di vedere, da migliorare. Anche la pulizia degli spazi comuni è migliorabile: una macchia all'ingrasso è rimasta per più di 2 giorni.

Las puertas del baño no tienen manillas a pesar que el sistema no es comodo

La habitación tenia mal olor, mala ventilación y luz artificial, el barrio no era para andar una mujer sola.
Ubicación perfecta, cercana a los principales puntos turísticos. Personal amable. Desayuno variado, también tiene máquina de café y agua fría/caliente operativa 24h al día de forma gratuita.
Nos tocó hospedarnos en la planta calle y en ocasiones era difícil descansar con el ruido de la terraza del mismo hotel.
La ubicación es excelente, muy cerca del zócalo, pero también en un barrio muy tranquilo y seguro. El servicio también fue excelente; en conserjería nos dieron consejos de tours y datos de transporte, y el staff de aseo y del desayuno siempre nos atendió muy bien. Una mención especial a Reyna, quien nos explicó el funcionamiento del hotel muy bien y siempre fue muy atenta con nosotros.
El desayuno cumple y es abundante, pero podría haber sido más variado (bien incluyendo más opciones mexicanas, como chilaquiles, u opciones "internacionales", como pan tostado y mantequilla).
La atención. La ubicación. Que a la hora que sea, podía prepararme café o cereal.

We enjoyed our stay at Colmena Hotel CDMX Centro and were very happy to have chosen it for our time in Mexico City. The location is excellent—right in the historic center, just a short walk from the Zócalo and surrounded by an extraordinary concentration of the city’s history, architecture, art, and everyday life.
One of the things we appreciated most was how easily we could walk from the hotel to so many remarkable places, including the Metropolitan Cathedral, Templo Mayor and Museo del Templo Mayor, Palacio Nacional, Palacio de Bellas Artes, Museo Nacional de Arte (MUNAL), Museo Mural Diego Rivera, and Museo del Estanquillo, among many other museums, historic buildings, plazas, and restaurants. The Zócalo/Tenochtitlan Metro station is also just a seven-minute walk away. For anyone who enjoys discovering a city on foot and immersing themselves in its cultural life, the location is truly ideal.
What makes Colmena particularly special, however, is the atmosphere of the hotel itself. Despite being in the middle of such a busy and vibrant part of Mexico City, the moment you enter, you leave much of the noise and intensity of the city behind. The hotel feels quiet, intimate, and surprisingly secluded. Its warmth and simplicity reminded us more of a traditional Mexican home than a conventional hotel. It has a genuinely welcoming and personal character, and we especially enjoyed returning there after long days of exploring the city.
The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay, contributing greatly to the relaxed and hospitable atmosphere. We also enjoyed the breakfast. We were very happy with our stay and would gladly return to Colmena on a future visit to Mexico City.

The windows all opened onto a shared common courtyard. Not really a problem or something they could help, but it wasn’t the most private setup
