When visiting San Jose del Cabo over the years, we always wanted to stay at the El Encanto.. this year we made it happen. Such a charming hotel. Friendly service, clean, and perfectly located I the central area. I highly recommend!

My daughter-in-law was able to get the suite she wanted.
The rooms were clean and attractive. I loved the pool area and the restaurant. The neighbourhood is filled with outstanding art and craft stores.

Perfect location for exploring downtown and the art walk. We stayed in the main building in a room that opens into the beautiful pool area. The owner is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The main property and common areas for this inn was beautiful with the landscaping being gorgeous. We were in “the annex” which also had lovely landscaping. The room was also nice but I would suggest they indicate you’ll be in the annex on the website. It was a little loud but nothing you wouldn’t expect being in the center of town. I would recommend they use better lighting in the room and some decor on a porch behind the room that was unused.

You can tell the front desk deals with disappointed customers daily about the annex. I knew it was a possibility from the reviews so no complaints from me but no friendliness from her. If it’s that much of an issue, warn people on your website. Just be nice and friendly. We still enjoyed the pool and the restaurant next door is excellent. I would return so don’t be afraid to stay there.

Upgraded room. I wasn't sure if they were honest when they said Expedia didn't pay room taxes so we had to pay that. I didn't see any line items for that on Expedia receipt. Been wanting to reach out to you to see if that was true.

We are regular guests at the Encanto and really enjoyed the ease of parking the comfort of the rooms the proximity to restaurants and shops and especially like the front office folks. Very nice. We will be coming back.

A real pretty place!! It’s like the White Lotus of Los Cabos. 😂 There is another building down the street with rooms. We booked a junior suite and she tried to put us down the street but I called her on it and she put us in the correct room. They have parking and are close to everything.

We had a wonderful week-long stay. The staff was very helpful and kind. The location is ideal. We felt lucky to be right in the historic district. Amazing restaurants feet away. Others have mentioned noise, but we simply used earplugs on festive nights. We plan to return.

It’s in the charming historical part of San Jose del Cabo. Only wish the pool was heated; I stay there in the winter.

Lovely spacious room in the Art District of San Jose del Cabo. Close to shops and great restaurants. The courtyard, pool area and common spaces are beautifully decorated and inviting. The only negative is that the area can be a bit noisy at night as it is near nightlife. Earplugs dd the trick for me but this could be an issue if you are a light sleeper. Everything else was exemplary.
