Banyan Tree Veya, Valle de Guadalupe

The breakfast was good quality for being included. The hotel room was very beautiful and serene. The touches were placed for my birthday which was thoughtful.

What isn’t there to love about Banyan Tree Veya?! It’s a stunning property with all the amenities one needs for a wonderful stay. The staff are extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful. A special shoutout to Esteban, who simply goes above and beyond to ensure guests are well cared for. Another shoutout to Leticia from the spa for a wonderful experience. All dining options are a must, as is the Pictograma and Atalaya experience. This is by far our favorite hotel in VDG and we look forward to our next stay!!

The property and the room were stunning. The staff was also very attentive and helpful. I felt very safe on the property as a solo female traveler. I would definitely stay here again.

Really great venue. Amazing pools. Excellent food and staff. We had a real snafu at check in but the hotel went out if it’s way to make it up to me. I’ll definitely come back.

From the moment we arrived, Banyan Tree Veya offered a perfect blend of serenity, luxury, and thoughtful hospitality. The resort is beautifully designed, with lush surroundings and a calming atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. I cannot stress how helpful and friendly everyone working at the resort was, from the team at reception to housekeeping.

Breakfast was a daily delight, not only huge but absolutely delicious. The variety and quality were outstanding, with something to satisfy every craving. And a huge plus, it is served until 12pm every day, so no early morning rush!

The spa was exceptional. Every treatment was delivered with care and expertise we had wraps and massages, leaving us feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. We also enjoyed a complimentary Sound Bath the morning of our Spa Day that really set the tone of relaxation.

Dining at the restaurant was consistently excellent. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, making every meal a pleasure. Special thanks to Diageo, our sommelier, whose passion and knowledge made dining experience even better.

A real highlight was the visit to the winery, a stunning location (its called Pictogram for a reason!!!) with a fantastic selection of wines grown on site. Daniel, our host, was super. Not only was he beyond knowledgeable about the wines but he was so much fun!

Each evening, a custom scent was prepared in our room, adding a personal and luxurious touch that made the stay feel even more special.

Getting around the resort was effortless thanks to the golf buggies, which were always available and made exploring the grounds easy and enjoyable.

In summary, Banyan Tree Veya is a haven of peace and indulgence. Every detail is carefully considered, and the staff go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. We can’t wait to return!

El hotel está muy bonito. Los cuartos excelentes. Pero nos tocó mala suerte porque el aire acondicionado no servía, y hacía mucho calor. Igualmente no funcionaba el refrigerador del cuarto, y a pesar de reportarlos a dos veces no los arreglaron. El cuarto muy bonito

Hotel is Understaffed

Decepcionante . Albercas frías, no hay room service, falta de insumos en restaurantes y bares, servicio además de lento deficiente, no debería de ser un Bayan Tree y me siento engañado por que el costo es elevado para recibir una mala estancia.

No servía el aire acondicionado, se sentía mucho calor, el servicio no es el que ofrece otros hoteles de la cadena Banyan Tree!!!.

Great hotel with beautiful architecture !. Quiet and with good service. Rooms are spacious and amazingly decorated. Beds are comfortable and everything works as it should air con, WiFi etc !

I stayed at this hotel over the weekend and, unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations for a property advertised as five-star. In reality, the service and facilities are more in line with a three-star hotel.

We paid $600 for one night in a villa that, upon arrival, did not have a functioning door lock. I reported the issue and was told it had been fixed. However, when I returned to the villa, the lock was still not working. I spent nearly an hour on the phone asking to be moved to another villa, which was eventually arranged.

Overall, the service was basic, and the staff lacked the training you would expect from a hotel in this category. Despite expressing my concerns, there was little interest or accountability from the team, and no manager ever came forward to address the situation.

I would not recommend this hotel, especially considering the price point and the expectations that come with a five-star rating.
