This boutique hotel is in the heart of the city and an easy walk to historical square as well as shopping and restaurants.The front desk staff Ifer and Salma were very welcoming, engaging and always helpful. Marco and the cafe staff are top notch. The light fair served is delicious.
It's a beautiful property, well maintained, tastefully decorated and a very relaxing ambiance. It's a very quiet location with several patios. Our room was a gorgeous marble room with tile floor, very high ceilings & black out curtains.
There is an interesting history behind Palpatio so it's not your typical hotel, but more like an open style colonial mansion. The caveat is that there are no elevators, but it shouldn't pose an issue for most guests because it's only a three-story building & staff will help carrying luggage up.
Palpatio Hotel can hook you up with trustworthy drivers from the airport to the hotel & also rides from hotel to anywhere in town. We arrived at the airport at 11:39 pm & had our safe ride to the hotel. There was great communication with hotel staff both before check-in & during our stay.
There's a restaurant on-site that serves amazing breakfast for a reasonable price, but you can also walk to Guadalajara's historic Centro.
You won't regret staying at the Palpatio Hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and always ready to help with anything I needed, which made the experience feel very welcoming. The rooms and common areas were spotless, showing a real commitment to cleanliness and comfort. One of the things I appreciated most was how quiet it was—I was able to get a peaceful night’s sleep without any disturbances.
The food was another highlight; every meal I had was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, making dining here a real treat. On top of all that, the hotel’s location is excellent—convenient to local attractions and easy to get around from, yet still tucked away enough to feel calm and relaxing.
Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, quality, and great service.

Very unique and comfortable stay. Breakfast was great! Staff was attentive and friendly.
Great place
Beautiful former nunnery that has maintained its character and rustic charm. The staff, especially Ikor(aka Axel) were friendly and helpful. Check in and checkout were seamless. I only have one minor complain, and that is that the room lacked a comfortable chair to relax on. This is despite us being in a suite.

Staff was very attentive. Hotel is extremely quiet. Good location.
Only issues: the bed was short. I’m 5’7” and my feet hung off the end. Also, restaurant doesn’t serve food until 8:30am and cafe doesn’t open until 8am.
Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Visit Palpatio! A must! Its owner is extremely cordial and attentive, and maybe more important, food is awesome!
Really nice hotel. The property use to be for nuns. The rooms are named after them. So don't sin in the rooms. (lol). Really.. really... really nice staff. Did I mention the staff was really friendly. The area is off the main street but easily walkable to most major areas. It is soooooo quite. Like church/library quite. Ate at the restaurant several times. Great breakfast. Allowed early check in for a small fee. $15.00. Staying there again.
El hotel cuenta con una céntrica localizacion y segura para caminar. Las habitaciones son muy limpias y cómodas, en adicion elnpersonalnes muy atento.
Hotel Palpatio is incredible, the staff are very kind and the building is very cool.

Everything was beautiful but the air conditioning stop working, I had to ask for a fan in order to sleep it was too hot
