Casa Baloo is a hotel in a class of its own.
The location is perfect (less than 5 minutes walk tonthe beach), the rooms are beautiful and modern. But what really stands out is the staff. Within a very short time I felt so comfortable as a guest, as if it were my new home.
The crew does everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. A huge compliment :)
The Baloo restaurant, where breakfast for the guests is served, is bursting with fresh dishes and original Mexican flavors. Here too, the emphasis is on hospitality.
If you visit El Cuyo, stay at Casa Baloo, you will not regret it.

Casa Baloo is truly the definition of “home away from home” and a hidden gem in El Cuyo. From the second we arrived, the wonderful staff and owners, Lucy and Francisco, welcomed us as if we were family and helped us settle in. The hotel itself is an oasis, with beautiful amenities that are maintained so well they look brand new. The pool is a perfect way to relax and cool off after a hot day under the Yucatan sun; the rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean; and our favorite part, the rooftop, was the perfect spot for sunrises and sunsets, having a drink and even doing yoga (which was so kindly organized for us by Lucy and served as a wonderful way to wake up and get moving).
It is an easy 5 min walk to the beach and the town is super safe to go out for dinner or a walk at any time of the night. There are great restaurants in town, from sophisticated chef owned places & wine bars to authentic mexican fare. However the best food we had at the Baloo restaurant which is a small, cozy, open air place under palm trees right next to the hotel. Breakfast and lunches are crafted by Lucy who has tremendous passion for food, great technique and used fresh ingredients. My tip: chilaquiles !
And that is why beyond the spaces and amenities, the attention to detail and genuine care and effort put in by the team is what really made this stay memorable.

El lugar es hermoso rodeado plantas naturales y palmeras. Es un negocio manejado por la familia y su servicio y hospitalidad es inigualable.

Sinceramente el luga increible , muy limpias las habitaciones , la alberca espectacular muy instagramiable el lugar. Esta a pocos pasos de la playa con un terraza padrisimo, con vista la laguna , pudimos aprecias distintas aves. Y sin diduda por lo que volveria es la atencion que nos dieron desde que lleganos , la señora Irene siempre facilito toda la estancia apesar que por cuestiones de itinerario solo pudimos estar una noche. Sin duda alguna Volveremos

Casa Baloo was a little hard to find but it was worth it.
Very new room with comfortable bed and pillows.
We almost left without breakfast, but the young staff member walked us down the restaurant just a very short walk away

Recomendaría el lugar limpio y muy buena atención de la familia.

Segunda vez que utilizo este hotel. Me parece una excelente opción siendo la amabilidad de los encargados un punto a resaltar como muy bueno.
Definitivamente habrá una tercer visita muy pronto.

Petit hôtel mais super sympa et convivial , personnel super serviable et gentil

This sweet hotel is named after the couple's late dog and is cared for like family. The owners were kind, intelligent, and fun, their zest for life and the ocean is apparent in every detail. The hotel has a friendly vibe and allows for the guests to meet one another by the beautiful pool or amazing rooftop palapa with a view! We wish we could have stayed longer and eaten at their restaurant. Hotels this wonderful are rare!

Cuyo muy cerca del mar tienda de conveniencia y los restaurantes de la zona tótalmente recomendable volvería a ir el trato fue muy cordial por parte de los anfitriones y personal del hotel

Es un lugar nuevo, pero se han esmerado en hacernos sentir bienvenido y como en casa. La pergola del tercer piso es muy agradable en la noche. Ayuda mucho que esta hibicado lejos del ruido de la plaza. Puntos extras por el personal que atiende. Son extremadamente amables y atentos a cualquier cosa que necesitamos.
Las camas son muy comodas ya que son colchones firmes que no rebotan cuando alguien más se acuesta. Esto es fundamental cuando estas en pareja. Las toallas muy suaves. Se nota el esmero en que se laven correctamente.
En fin, mi estancia preferida en El Cuyo.
