Pros:

It is an apartment in a private residential building! The doorman did not have the authorization from the property manager! After several attends he was able to communicate with property, who i also dialed several times! When i arrived atvthe apartment, there was NO electricity! I came down to the door man and he informed me that it was cut off by electric company few months a go! This property should be removed from Expedia!

Save you a headache and stay away from this place!
Pros:

The location is good. The apartment was clean but cold for this time of the year (winter). Heating device was very suboptimal. Kitchen was good but queen size beds were tiny and too soft.

Cons:

I would give it a 0 if I could. I am fortunate to travel frequently and I have never been tortured like this before. I booked this property directly with Booking and had no problems. However, the day before checking in Wynwood forced me to check my identity with them "for security reasons". Initially they sent me a "safe link" to upload pictures of all 5 guest passports. They claimed that something went wrong and then they asked me to send a picture of my passport and credit card via WhatsApp. After a very long exchange of messages (I told them multiple times this was not safe and was even discouraged by Booking rules), they forced me to do it or otherwise they would cancel my reservation. When I arrived to the property the following day, we realized previous guests must have caused a lot of trouble as the building security retained us at the door for more than 30 minutes. They told us they needed to confirm all 5 identities with Wynwood (they took forever to confirm this information). Security was rather rude and made it clear that their only goal was to protect the other apartment owners. They starting taking pictures of all our passports and made us read a number of "rules" that we had to agree before entering the building. We were told the electrical power of our apartment would be interrupted if we made any noise, organized a party, used drugs, were involved in prostitution, etc, etc. I have 3 little kids and have never caused any problems before. The treatment we received by both, Wynwood and the building security was rude, disrespectful and unacceptable.

Pros:

The apartment was very spacious. It was located in a central and desirable part of town. The best part of our stay was the staff and their elite customer service. They made us feel at home and at peace especially as tourists traveling to a new city in Mexico.

Cons:

What we didn't like...I think they could improve on is in the bedrooms there was nothing to sit on I think that if they had a chair in each room or a stool it would be very helpful. In addition to the chairs, I think they could also benefit from having more lighting in the bathrooms.

The booking process was simple but what ensued after was confusing.There were a lot of requirements to prove one's identity that and it made us feel very uncomfortable. The information they were asking for was very sensitive in nature and we didn't feel safe sending it. We've booked with different travel agencies before and this was a first time we had to send pictures of our IDs, etc.

In the end, we did have to provide pictures of everyone's identification and also the booking party's credit card information.
