Okay for a night or two stopover, however if staying any longer I would not recommend

Gaps in the doors at the front and back and bathroom window of the room let mosquitos in!

Pool was dirty, rubbish floating in it

Lovely oasis next to Convento de San Bernardino
Pros:

Frater Hotel is a beautiful property, and is a quiet oasis. It is within a 1 minute walk of the Convento de San Bernardino and their nightly light show. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern, all with AC (our group of 5 used two rooms - a Queen size for 2, and a King with extra bed in a separate area). Many rooms have balconies or patios with a hammock. The interior courtyard by the pool is peaceful place to sit. Breakfast is not provided, but there is an excellent cafe (MariaPura) on the property, with outside seating. The location is not in the historic center but is in the quieter outskirts (although in the evenings, the area gets very lively and some bars are loud. We were not disturbed at all by the noise, however). After seeing much of the city we realized we'd chosen our hotel well, and appreciated the respite from a hectic week of noise and bustle after exploring the peninsula.

Cons:

There is ambient noise from some of the neighboring businesses at night, but as I previously mentioned, we were not bothered by it and Frater hotel thoughtfully provided earplugs. If you were anticipating breakfast, be forewarned that it is not provided.

Pretty and well located
Pros:

The hotel itself is very pretty and comfortable. They are aware of the noise so they provide earplugs, which I found really thoughtful. The hotel itself does not have a restaurant, but there is a small cafe right next to it where you can have food and is really nice.

Pros:

It's in a great location, close to restaurants & cafe's. Its clean, tidy and well presented. The hotel and room I had presented well, felt safe and secure.

Cons:

The noise from local clubs banging on all night. The pool deck & lounge chairs are in desperate need of repair, bordering on dangerous.

Nett aber etwas zu teuer für die Hellhörigkeit
Pros:

Sehr gute Lage und nahe zu guten Restaurants, großes Zimmer mit zwei Balkonen. Sehr gute Sitzmöglichkeiten auf dem Balkon.

Cons:

Eher hellhörig, sehr belebt und teils laute Gegend, Kühlschrank im Zimmer sehr laut nachts

Great location. A few shortcomings but would recommend and stay here again.
Pros:

Excellent location. Next to Calle de los Frailes (main instagramable street) and Convent de San Bernardino de Siena (nightly light show). Most restaurants are less than 15 minutes walk away.

Cons:

No iron and hair dryer in room. Had to call front desk to ask. We had an early day to Chihchen Itza and no one was at the front desk. Almost had to leave with wet hair. Thankfully, we were able to get one last minute before we had to leave. Parking was generally available across the street. We couldn’t find parking on our last night (a Friday) because many activities were happening in the area.

Great shower. Brightness. A/C. Bed was fine. Open space in front of hotel.

Cons:

No table, no chairs inside. Thin, older towels (but clean). Loud music from neighbouring bar. Only one luggage rack. Noisy refrigerator.

Bon emplacement pour visiter Valladolid. La calle de los frailes est magnifique et la cathedrale a 2 pas. Lits confortables.
