Casa Yuca Hotel

Creo que el baño puede mejorar. Renovar almohadas y siempre tener al menos 2 por persona. Le falta mejorar el pasillo de abajo, no está bonito afuera de las piezas. Importante mejorar decoración de recepcion, hay mucha competencia por los mismos valores y se nota la diferencia.

Mal olor en el baño. No había recepcionista durante la noche ni en la mañana. No había suficiente papel de baño.

I felt the bed wet, like it was spray with some smell, not a clean smell.

De kamer die we kregen keek uit op de binnentuin en grensde aan de receptie, waardoor het erg gehorig was en er geen raam open kon. Het ergste was dat er grote schimmelplekken op de muren te zien waren, het rook er daardoor erg vochtig en muf. Bovendien werkte de airco niet. Na beklag hierover konden we de eerste 2 nachten in een andere kamer verblijven, die was op zich oké. Al waren er geen enkele faciliteiten zoals een koffiezetapparaat of föhn. Daarna moesten we voor de overige 2 nachten weer terug naar de originele kamer. Dit was echt geen doen. Schandalig dat ze
Mensen laten slapen in een kamer met schimmel. We konden toen naar een andere locatie van dezelfde eigenaar. Ook deze kamer was erg basic met een klein bed. Maar de locatie was wel goed en er was iig geen schimmel in de kamer.

We had no toilet paper when we arrived. And couldn’t contact anyone until the next day. I went downstairs to the lobby bathroom to get a roll.

I feel like it is too expensive for what it is, two beds and a basic bathroom with barely any decoration, doesn't include breakfast, I think it comes down to San Miguel being an expensive and gentrified city

Our room faced the common hallway which was noisy at times during the early morning

No maid service even after requesting it
1 washcloth given for 2 people
No additional towels provided even after requested twice
Poor management by WhatsApp, not on site

Este hotel NO es un hotel boutique. El jabón del baño lo mezclan con agua para hacerlo cundir, las habitaciones son enanas, casi no entra una maleta abierta, el aire acondicionado chorrea agua (y justo cayó arriba de mi maleta y mojó todo). Las paredes están sucias, las sábanas también tenían manchas y pelos. Aunque sobre esto último, agradezco al bote porque alegue y me cambiaron las sábanas por unas nuevas. No volvería

Shower and bathroom could have been better, some fixtures were broken or damaged

With the exception of one young gal, who was helpful and friendly, the rest of the staff was not friendly and ignored me and others. I had questions but felt like they were clearly not interested in being helpful.
Firm beds (not comfortable). Zero coffee in lobby or rooms.
But it’s a decent place for a reasonable price so I think it’s a good deal in its price range.
But next time I will spend more and stay somewhere another block closer.
