Would stay again in a heartbeat!
Pros:

Loved the staff, the decor, it is connected to a restaurant which is convenient, how they upgraded an old building but kept the character of the original!

Cons:

Only one of the 2 elevators was operational and with 11 floors that was a bitmoji cumbersome.

It was great and all the staff were shper helpful & sweet
Pros:

Very cute and clean i liked the food and candy in the lobby

Cons:

The upstairs would be nice if they did stuff in the winter, at least heaters

Ottima posizione nel cuore di Gaslamp e a 7 minuti dalla marina.
Letto ottimo e comodo.
L'ascensore, seppur datato, è estremamente affascinante, apparentemente era l'ascensore più veloce degli USA all'inizio del 1900.

Pros:

Great beaux arts themed hotel. Everything looked clean and relatively new. The elevator is a bit cumbersome but quite original.

Cons:

The heating didn't work properly, it stopped with an error after short heating cycle and one had to turn it off and on again.
The front desk wasn't helpful, at 8:30pm the answer was "we put in an engineering ticket" and then hung up, but no one came. At 9pm the answer was "the technician is gone for today, he'll look into it tomorrow, we can send you an extra blanket", which they did.

Incredibly comfortable, great decor, had a splendid night.
Pros:

The lift was really cool, and the decorations being old sailor themed were amazing. The Navy was a big part of my life and seeing the decor reflect sailing really made me feel welcome.

Cons:

I think having an extra pair of blankets in the room would've been nice. The A/C was great but would not stay on the whole night and maybe sound proofing the windows to keep the nightlife ambient noise to a minimum.

The hotel is gorgeous, the staff is friendly, and the location is convenient.
Pros:

The Location of the hotel was very convenient. The was quiet, with plenty of light, and a comfortable bed with plush pillows. The hotel's theme was beautiful. Loved the aesthetics. The roof top was also great to work at and take in all the views. Staff was friendly as well.

Cons:

The elevator is really nice. It's like a Time Machine. But getting in and out with your luggage can be a hassle. In another instance, the elevator did not want to make its way up, I had to open and close the gate several times with my hands occupied with 3 coffee's.

A fun stay with friends and we are already talking about planning another trip to stay at this hotel
Pros:

Everything! Location to the ballpark, cute and quaint feel of the hotel, friendly staff, roof top bar and restaurant. The elevator was fun too! Price was great too!

A nice, centrally located hotel
Pros:

The room was comfortable and clean but small. The location of the hotel was great. The lift was a heritage lift, which made it look nice and different, but was extremely unpractical. The restaurant at the hotel was wonderful but with a limited variety on the menu.

They surprised me on my birthday with a bigger room.
Pros:

I like international breakfast but this was ok. Could get coffee and a ham sandwich from 7 am.

Cons:

Oplichters, zeggen dat ze een bepaald bedrag aanrekenen voor de parking van uw wagen en rekenen na het verblijf dubbel op uw creditkaart aan! Als je ze belt erover doen ze nep vriendelijk en zeggen ze dat ze het terugbetalen maar je ontvangt nooit iets.
