Lovely little surprise hotel in Puerto Escondido
Pros:

We really enjoyed this little gem of a hotel. It is not beach front but the beach is only a short distance away and the rooftop pool area gave us excellent views of the ocean. Our rooms were fairly basic but nevertheless comfortable. What we loved was the rooftop area—the pool is lovely and the hammocks were a huge hit. We were thrilled that the rooftop had a bar and that the bartender made excellent drinks (both mocktails and cocktails). It’s also nice that the bar has a bar menu so we could order snacks along with our beverages.

Cons:

The hotel is on a street off the main highway so it is not particularly walkable (except to the beach which is just a short walk away). We also had issues one day with hot water and, on another day, with the loss electricity. The electricity loss was not the hotel’s fault and the staff was immediately responsive to our concerns. The only other issue we had was that the drain in our bathroom smelled of sewer.

A charming traditional style hotel near the beach. Lovely staff.
Pros:

Lovely roof terrace overlooking the sea where we ate breakfast and early dinner. Food was good value for money. The beach is a few minutes walk away.

Cons:

The restaurant closed a bit early for us in the evening. Although we ate there every day.

It was a pleasant stay and we did love the pool, rooftop bar and hibiscus cocktail

We loved the rooftop bar and pool, best thing about this hotel!

Cons:

The location wasn’t great for the small bays that are safe to swim and the rooms are quite basic. The restaurant is quite inadequate so you can’t depend on it.

Nett angelegtes Hotel mit viel grün im Innenhof, nicht mehr ganz neu. Freundliches zuvorkommendes Personal, Rooftop mit Bar, kleinem Pool und Meerblick. Strasse führt direkt an kilometerlangen Strand und Meer.

Cons:

Hatten ein Zimmer im obersten Stock. Wasser floss spärlich, Toiletten-/Duschbereich sehr beengt.

Good, with plenty of rest.
Pros:

I liked the sense of being in a place where I could really rest. Personnel in general were very helpful, I liked specially the bar tender Vladimir.

Cons:

Having a tv could help. And maybe having some snacks at the bar.

INCROYABLE.
Pros:

The staff was increible!! I can only recommend this hotel, they were amazing with us, kind, helpful. And the cocktails, wow, speechless.

HERMOSOS ATARDECERES
Pros:

Excelente ubicación, a unos pasos de la playa Marinero y de todas las otras hermosas playas. Lugar seguro. Habitaciones amplias, algunas más iluminadas que otras según la habitación. La piscina en el tercer piso tiene una vista muy linda de la playa desde donde se pueden ver hermosos amaneceres y atardeceres, es un super plus. Los desayunos, aunque no están incluidos, tienen precios accesibles y son muy bien preparados, al igual que los alimentos y bebidas que ofrecen en la terraza del tercer piso.
El personal super amable y educado

Cons:

Los colchones que me tocaron necesitan una renovación y algo más de presión en las duchas, aunque creo que depende de la habitación que te toque

Séjour exécrable dans un hôtel hors de prix pour ce qu'on vous offre. Honteux

L'hôtel bénéficie d'un bon emplacement à proximité de la playa marinero.
Le restaurant de l'hôtel est très bon avec des prix corrects.
Le rooftop est agréable avec une belle vue.

Cons:

La chambre était très sombre car la seule fenêtre donnait sur le couloir intérieur.
Elle était très sale et vieille, avec des meubles cassés, de la peinture écaillée partout et beaucoup de traces d'humidité.
Le lit est en ciment avec un matelas inconfortable posé sur le ciment.
Nous avons trouvé des cafards dans la chambre.
Faire payer 2000 MXN hors saison pour cette chambre dans ce vieil hôtel sale, mal entretenu et sans petit déjeuner est du vol pur et simple. Ma pire expérience au Mexique (et j'y vais chaque année depuis 8 ans).
