True foundational Zipolite housing.
Pros:

Claudia and her family is amazing. The space is one of a kind, the vibe is one of a kind, and the location is basically the crown of the beach itself. It's definitely rustic, but there's a diversity of room styles - and the staff will accommodate if they're able.

Cons:

Honestly at the price, I couldn't ask for anything more. I can imagine if you're looking for something with AC specifically - or amenities like a pool - this might not be for you. The location still more than makes up for anything.

Views were breathtaking. Staff was friendly.

Cons:

Rooms were not made regularly and floor was not clean. Bed was not large enough. We were missing some shelves and hooks in the room. Toilet was sometimes dysfunctional. Shower pressure was lowcto wash hair.

Pros:

This place is very beautiful and creative.Therr are a few regular rooms and a few with palm thatched roofs. These are the ones who transfer you into a different period of time. They are not 100% mosquito proof but all have screens on the windows and a mosquito net over the bed. But mosquitoes were not a big issue. There is a steady breeze from the Pazifik and the steady noise of breaking waves. The view over Playa Zipolite is outstanding. During the day they offer an umbrella, two chairs and a table to use at the beach for free. Make sure to try the fish tacos there.

Cons:

There was no coffee in the morning and breakfast which was due to the lack of employees.

Amazing views in an unbelievably beautiful place
Pros:

There can be no better location! The sound of the waves is amazing; watching the morning sunrise amazing. And to open the door to my room and just hear and see the beauty of this area is a gift.

Beautiful family, incredible home, gorgeous views, you won’t regret this one.
Pros:

A hidden gem!!! I absolutely love this place. I felt as if I was in my own little fairy cabin hidden in the hill overlooking all of Zipolite beach. The lookout spots for both sunrise and sunset are immaculate. Peaceful, tranquil,, this place rejuvenated my soul after a bit too much partying in Puerto Escondido. The family is incredible. They are all so kind and welcoming and you can feel the love they’ve poured into this sanctuary. Wonderful and friendly dogs too. I also had absolutely 0 problems with my bed, it was really comfy. Please stay here, they deserve every penny and you will love your stay.

Cons:

I can see how a rustic cabin in the forest might not be everyone’s cup of tea…it can get a bit chilly at night and there are mosquito nets for a reason, but if you love nature you’ll love this.

This is a home away from home where the ocean and the staff become your family.
Pros:

This is a place that once you check out, a little part of you is changed forever. Do yourself a favour and experience the magic that is at Shambhala Vision.
Safe, secure, friendly, lovely. I was emotional to leave.

Cons:

Having a mat on the floor near the bed to dust the sand off before getting in would have been perfect.

Pros:

Está ubicado en el que para mi es el mejor spot de Zipolite, al final de la playa con un acceso directo a la misma solamente al bajar las escaleras; cuentan con camastros que se pueden usar sin ningún costo extra, restaurante desde las 6 de la mañana (para que veas el amanecer con un cafecito) un lugar para ver el atardecer a unas escaleras de distancia subiendo hacía la montaña. Una vista increible de la playa y el amanecer. Al llegar había una confusión con mi reserva pero Claudia me ayudó a resolverla rapidamente y terminé teniendo incluso un mejor cuarto del que había pagado. Recomiendo muchísimo el lugar!
