Would recommend Casa Altata in a heartbeat!
Pros:

This is an artfully decorated, beautiful boutique hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We stayed in on the 4th floor, and since there are no elevators, we definitely got our steps in each day! We loved the large, shared living space on our floor and had it to ourselves the 3 days we spent here. Breakfast offered healthy, delicious options. Comfortable bed, great neighborhood to walk in day and night.

Cons:

It lacks any closet space and very minimal storage for clothes, so we did have to live primarily out of our suitcases.

Nice stay in Condesa
Pros:

The rooms were beautiful and the hotel is in a good location, with a lot of nice restaurants, cafes, and parks nearby.

Cons:

The rooms were a bit small, great for one person but it would have been tight for 2 people with luggage. The water temperature of the shower / sink was also difficult to control (going between very hot and cool when barely turning the faucet handles).

Fantastic boutique hotel with amazing staff in a perfect location.
Pros:

Super comfortable stay in this sweet spot, right in a great neighborhood on a tree-lined street. Super comfortable, the staff are so friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts are incredible and made with such pride. Couldn’t recommend more for a stay in the city.

Das Hotel und die Zimmer sind sehr schön, sauber und stilvoll eingerichtet. Das Quartier hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Es ist ruhig und hat viel zu bieten. Tipp für guten Kaffee und Frühstück: Another Cafe

Cons:

Leider sind die Duschen enttäuschend: kaum Wasserdruck und keine einstellbare Temperatur. Warmes Wasser wird innerhalb von Sekunden extrem heiss, weshalb ich kalt geduscht habe. Meine langen Haare habe ich in einem Salon waschen lassen – mit dem geringen Wasserdruck hätte das ewig gedauert, und mit kaltem Wasser war es dann doch zu viel. Laut Hotel ist das in allen Zimmern so.

We loved the location, the style of the hotel, the breakfast and the staff were all awesome. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and was in an area that was very walkable to parks and restaurants.

Cons:

there were some small issues with the the water being TOO HOT, but was able to adjust.

It was really great, like others have said the rooms are a little small when luggage is in the room and the stairs are a bit small. BUT that does not detract from the wonderful stay and I would stay here again.

The hotel was so cozy and perfect to come back to after a long day of sight seeing. Staff was incredibly friendly.

If you are forewarned about the above items, it was wonderful.
Pros:

location great, staff wonderful

Cons:

No advance notice that they didn't have an elevator....we were on the 3rd floor and needed to take 50 steps at least four times a day... the first time with our heavy suitcase. The shower had very hard to control hot water. My husband gave up after one shower, I took 3...we were there 7 nights.
