Palihotel Hollywood near Universal Studios

We had the best stay at Pali Hotel Westwood. I own an interior design business and I loved the design and all of the pretty details. The delicious breakfast was one of our favorite parts. There is no elevator, which is a consideration if that would be a problem. Staff is there to help with bags as needed, or pack light. Front desk staff member, Dave, was one of the kindest and most genuinely helpful people I’ve encountered in all of my travels. We are hoping to visit again soon!

Such a cute hotel. It’s a little oasis in the bustle of Hollywood. Would absolutely stay here again. Great bar and oool. Only complaint is there was no housekeeping.

Really bad start to our trip, when booking i selected pay at property to pay in local currency (cash), maybe if this was not allowed this should be clearly highlighted as we were stuck with the exact cash to pay for our stay and unable to do so. Then the charge was taken on my card for the stay but “not taken on their end” so I was left with the money taken from my account and still unable to check in. This was of course extremely frustrating for us as we were waiting. Staff were very careless and quite rude about the situation in my opinion, I understand that they could not do much but this had been extremely stressful for us and the attitude was as if they didn’t care. When I finally managed to check in no instructions were given on the location of our room; how we park or other details like the lift and wifi. Hotel is also very old with slow facilities (the elevator is not automatic and is very scary so avoid) and the wifi does not work. This hotel smells awful also, like cigarettes throughout. Bare in mind if you are booking a room with a balcony that another persons room will have a window into your balcony (very strange). Pool does not appear clean and pool beds very worn out. I would avoid this property overall. Definitely not worth the money, or as pretty in real life :(

Clean and safe

Both the room and location were excellent. Room with swimming pool view was more than I could expect, Breakfast was not included.

We had the most wonderful stay at Palihotel Hollywood from February 19th to 27th.

A very special thank you to Javier and the entire team who were working during our stay. Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. The staff truly went above and beyond to make our experience feel special, comfortable, and memorable.

The hotel itself is beautiful and cozy, with a fantastic location that makes exploring Hollywood so easy and enjoyable. The atmosphere, the style, and the friendly energy of the staff made our stay absolutely amazing.

We will definitely be coming back to this lovely hotel. Thank you again to Javier and the whole team for making our time in Hollywood unforgettable!

The staff were attentive and extremely helpful!

Was given a room that still had the previous tenants' possessions and trash strewn about the room.
Tried to use the room phone several times, but never picked up on the other end.
Ordered a taxi for 6 am at the front desk, come time for pick up, no taxi was ordered. Replacement came swiftly, but still late.
Good cafe and atmosphere.
