Palihotel Hollywood near Universal Studios

I didnt like the outdated style of the hallways but the rest of the hotel was very pretty and the staff was very kind.

I'd stay again.

Really cool small boutique hotel with a beautiful pool area - great music playing but perfect volume - I worked out there all day for my lounger chair and it was amazing. The staff were really friendly in the room was clean and very comfortable. The food and drinks were great although it’s random when they serve food and when they don’t, I didn’t actually figure that out, but when they did serve food, it was delicious. I highly recommend. It’s a great place to stay very personal.

Very dirty and we didn’t get to get to our room till almost 2 hours after check-in because the rooms aren’t ready yet and we weren’t even offered a discount or anything

Very close to Hollywood Bowl and Walk of Fame! Clean room, cute design, great pool deck, and attentive staff!

Valet parking was confusing and we had to go in to ask for them to open the garage door, then when we came back at night to park the security guard was rude and only asked for a room number without verification of any kind. Normally you want parking to be easily accessible but it was not. Our sink was clogged, the tv remote did not work and though they said someone was being sent over, no one came. I also found a small blood stain on the comforter that had been washed. Overall, really wanted to love the place as it is aesthetically pleasing & employees are VERY kind, it’s just small things that could be fixed. For an overnight trip we didn’t want to bother and just wanted to get our stay over with basically.

Upon arrival the front desk was a bit rude, but I was like whatever I arrived early it’s on me. After my check in time we got our room and it was cute. The pool area and the whole as a whole really cute, but we did however run into some issues like the WiFi connection kept disconnecting and we weren’t able to watch movies and the ac was leaking. We called and told the front desk and they said they would send someone to check both the WiFi and ac unit. On check out they told me I had to pay for parking, but when we checked in the guy never told us anything about paying for parking, we also told them about the WiFi and rudely cut my boyfriend off and said “no one else complained so maybe it was just you” like wow! It was cool that they discounted the parking because as I mentioned,
NO ON EVER TOLD US WE HAD TO PAY.
Safe to say I will not be booking here again.

Love when a fresh concept takes over a hotel that's declining in a declining area… It's beautiful. I even love the roughness of the street outside… Everyone was really nice and it's really cute.

WiFi didn’t work. They say they only clean your room if you request it, but we requested it and they still didn’t clean it. This happened in both the Hollywood and San Diego Palihotel.

This is a newly updated hotel on Sunset near the 101 highway. There are plenty of dinning options nearby and shopping also. The hotel staff are very professional, they have a full bar and food is also in the lobby. The pool area is very inviting and comfortable with soft fluffy seating large chairs and some couches, the rooms have comfortable beds and all the accommodations you need in the room. When in LA we will stay at this hotel again.

Hotel is right next to in N out burger, so if that’s important to you, then it’s a good choice. Also it’s just block away from metro station and Hollywood walk of fame.

Staffs were kind and responded promptly, but we weren’t impressed by the room. Sound proofing isn’t there so expect to here everything (ear plug is in the room)
Room smells musty (we had to change it, 2nd room were better than 1st one but it still present the smell)
Shower

Check in went smoothly with kind staff. Unfortunately, the cook staff didn't show up both mornings so we couldn't have breakfast as planned. This isn't in an area where we wanted to go searching for a breakfast place, and the IHop across the street wasn't appealing. We asked for room service, but I guess that didn't include fresh towels...
The pool tile is very slippery. I'm surprised a hotel would make that unsafe selection for their hotel.
To end on a positive note, the staff was friendly including the bartender.

The staff was amazing. Dan the bartender was really nice and accommodating. They were out of coffee in the rooms so that was a bummer. The elevator worked when it wanted to. Got stuck in it twice. Hallway carpet has seen better days. Room was really nice.

Staff was very friendly and always helpful. Pool area was very nice, well maintained with lots of beautiful plants and trees. It was a nice little oasis in the middle of a bustling city. Dining and tourist attractions all within walking distance.

The room was super cool and it was the perfect place to stay for our last night in LA. The staff was super friendly and the beds were comfy.

Very clean and quiet hotel to stay in, only downfall I may say is the room was stuffy, there was no window access. I was hoping to depend on the ac but it was very low. Other than that I’d consider staying here again.

Absolutely fantastic hotel, beautifully decorated with charm and character. The rooms are gorgeous and the beds/furniture are so comfortable! The pool area is great and has a good happy hour offer to boot.

Whilst this hotel is not located in the nicest area of hollywood, it is geographically very convenient being near many tourist hotspots.

This was, to our surprise, the best hotel we stayed at on our entire california roadtrip.

There was no shower gel at first, but there were only two bottles of hair shampoo. When I complained, I found out that the body gel was in the room, not the shower room, and was difficult to find.

I liked that it was a boutique hotel, very cozy and quaint, we enjoyed the stay.
