Pros:

Séjour inoubliable, nous avons d'ailleurs prolongé. Un vrai havre de paix avec un personnel d'une vraie gentillesse. On se sent en famille.

Pros:

The hotel has a nice view of the ocean, since it's located high up on a hillside.

Cons:

The hotel is beautifully designed and photographs very well, and the view from the property is lovely. However, our stay didn’t quite meet expectations given the high reviews and price point. We had an issue with large ants in our room, parking was somewhat difficult, and access to the front entrance was limited due to construction. The property also felt more isolated than expected and wasn’t easily walkable to the town center. The owners were friendly and seemed genuinely interested in being helpful, but some interactions felt a bit intrusive. For example, after we mentioned the ants, the owner came to our door late in the evening around 11pm with bug spray, which unfortunately woke us up. Our first communication was also about additional credit card fees that weren’t disclosed on Booking (after the cancellation deadline had already passed) which left a poor impression before we even arrived.

Beautiful place
Pros:

Very nice staff, beautiful view, quiet place.
If you like true boutique stile hotels, it the place to visit in n the area. Beaches are within 5 min reach by car

Cons:

Breakfast is a bit slim. If you pay by card there will be an extra charge of 4%.

This is a wonderful comfortable hotel with warm hosts, we highly recommend La Alberca.
Pros:

La Alberca is located on a hill over the ocean a short drive away from San Agustinillo and Mazunte in one direction and Zipolite in the other. The small hotel is all soft earth tones with beautiful details. The rooms look out over an infinite pool and the ocean. Jordi, Oscar and Miranda were attentive and friendly hosts. You could spend the whole visit just at the pool.

Cons:

It was a lovely visit. The only issue was with the fact that you really have to drive or rent a scooter to get around the area. Walking is somewhat dangerous with so many scooters and cars zipping along on windy roads.

Very clean, great views

Cons:

Uncomfortable bed and pillows. No privacy, the balconies are separated with a rope so you cannot sit out there and have a private conversation/relax without your neighbours being about 1 foot away. Not romantic.

Pros:

Jordi und Miranda bereiten einen herzlichen Empfang, sowie Aufenthalt und noch süßer war die Verabschiedung.
Die Aussicht ist top.

Cons:

Gibt leider nicht so viele Liegen und sind mehr oder weniger im Schatten. Beim Duschen gibts kein warmes Wasser. Um in die Ortschaften (Mazunte und Zipolite) zu gelangen brauchts ein Taxo oder man fährt mit den Collectivos (75 Cent ca).
Föhn gibts leider keinen. Wenn man Mittagsessen will muss man das 4h vorher sagen, aber das Essen ist hausgemacht und lecker.

A dream stay in a dreamy Hotel
Pros:

-The staff, Jordi and Miranda, were absolutely lovely and helpful at all times. They truly put a lot of effort for you to feel right at home, thank you both!
-The room and bathroom are so well designed, even better in person
-The view from the pool or bedroom is a dream, with the chance to see whales in the ocean if you are lucky
-The quietness and peacefulness of the hotel

Cons:

-nothing, we loved everything! Just keep in mind that the hotel is located a bit remote on top of a hill and you will need a vehicle or public transport to go around

A breathtakingly gorgeous place, solicitous hosts and spectacular view.
Pros:

Jordi, Mirandi and the team were so wonderful, making sure everything was good for us. The place is a little paradise!

Cons:

Waiting for taxis but that had nothing to so with the Magnificent Alberca.

Es hätte nicht schöner sein können. Urlaub bei Freunden ! Wir kommen wieder
Pros:

Das Personal bereitete einen herzlichen Empfang für uns vor. Die Räumlichkeiten sind reduziert, aber sehr gemütlich und hübsch.
Ein tolles Badezimmer mit einer super Dusche ist vorhanden.
Neben einer Klimaanlage gab es auch ein Ventilator an der Decke .
Viele Empfehlungen halfen uns , die Gegend kennen zu lernen und den Bedürfnissen entsprechend zu erkunden.

Der riesige Pool war eine willkommene Abkühlung in der Mittagshitze
Außerdem ist der Service makellos und man kann sich wie zuhause fühlen.

Cons:

Die Parkplätze sind begrenzt. Bei früher Abreise ist ggf. die Absprache mit anderen Gästen notwendig.

Friendly oasis
Pros:

Amazing, fresh food. A little oasis with a pool, perfect for chilling during the day. Close to restaurants and bars in San Augustinillo and Mazunte but we liked that it was a bit away from the hustle and bustle.

Cons:

Nothing! Everything was perfect, anything we needed help on, the owners helped us - taxis, restaurant recommendations, etc.

Muy recomendable . Puedes combinar la tranquilidad y estás muy cerca del “movimiento” en Zipolite
Pros:

Magnifico el hotel, habitación y la piscina.
Oscar y Jordi súper buenos anfitriones y destacar a Miranda que es estupenda.
Un oasis cerca de Zipolite.

Cons:

Es un 10 pero mejorable podría ser el desayuno y no tener agua caliente para la ducha .
