Overall, we had a good stay!
Pros:

* Reservation process was smooth. Even though we booked through a third party, the hotel had our reservation ready when we arrived.
* Check-in was quick and easy.
* The hotel was in an area that felt safe.
* The property was well-maintained, and the lobby was clean and welcoming.
* Breakfast was good! I’m especially picky when it comes to hotel breakfast and I was pleased with this one.
* The room was VERY spacious, with a large kitchen and bathroom. The layout and overall condition of the room were wonderful! It was fully worth the price.

Cons:

* The room had a strange smell that lingered throughout our entire stay.
* The sheets and blankets were terrible. They felt like hospital-quality bedding. The mattress and pillows were actually comfortable, but the bedding itself was very disappointing.

It’s our first choice for a hotel in Hamden/New Haven area.
Pros:

Location is great. Close to highway, quieter area than some spots in Hamden/New Haven yet close to everything. Walking distance to several good restaurants. Easy Uber anywhere if you don’t want to drive. Lobby is spacious as are the rooms. Very clean, enjoyed having living and kitchen space. There is an enclosed basketball court at front of hotel that people love. Staff is friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Cons:

Breakfast could have been a little better. Have an easy option like scrambled eggs and bacon consistently. I’m not a fan of some hotel sausage links.

Great location, quiet and comfy but cold showers
Pros:

We liked the size of the room and the comfy beds. We didn't take advantage of the continental breakfast.

Cons:

The only issue was that the water was barely warm when taking a shower in the morning.
