Probably won't stay there again, but we might, just don't plan on it.
Pros:

We did not get breakfast. The office was still closed at 7am, we couldn't even get coffee. The desk worker when we checked in was a bit surly. However, the young man working the desk in the evening was very pleasant. We liked the location. The bed was very comfortable and we felt very safe there.

Cons:

The room was not very clean, the floor was dirty, the water pressure was low, there was no coffee pot in the room. The AC didn't work very well. One of the bedside lamps didn't just flicker, it was more like a strobe light.

Would definitely recommend
Pros:

Recently refurbished & under new management. Room had nice floor to ceiling window with view of Gulf. Room was clean & had cute retro frig & microwave. Great pool area. Manager Sam was great! Fresh Community coffee in the morning. Great economy way to stay for a cruise out of Galveston!

very enjoyable
Pros:

I liked being close to beach and the swimming pool was kept clean. liked being able to barbeque by the pool. it was nice and quiet when it should be, nice people all around

Cons:

not having enough trash containers to throw away trash out of room since rooms were not cleaned until checkout.
