It was super close to the beach so that was nice. I love that you can drive up to crystal beach makes packing your beach things easy.
The shower pressure was good and overall it was clean. My husband enjoyed the fan.
Staff was friendly.
The room had an odor to it which made my stay uncomfortable. There was also a mold on the lamp shade and rust on the lamp bottoms. We moved those off the ight stand because I don’t want that in my face. If they got rid of the dirty lamps and strange odor we would consider booking again.
NO AIRCONDITIONING
Location
Housekeeping does not come unless you request. Only 1 ice machine that is in office, and price.
Love there pool
Needs more cleaning regarding having pets.
Was not handicapped accessible. There no ramps up for her walker. And we ended up not even staying there.A horrible place!
Nothing
The pool was nice.
For the amount of money spent on the rooms it would have been nice to have coffee in the rooms and not have to go to the lobby for morning coffee which didn't open till 8:00 am. The beds are not very comfortable, not enough pillows. The lighting in the room needs to be upgraded to better see things. We had to take the lamp shade off of the lamp just to get enough light in to the room. The bathtub needs something in the bottom of the tub so you don't fall. It was very slippery and no safety handles to help if you slip. More like a motel 6 than a resort.
I have stayed at this hotel multiple times and each stay gets better! Sam is super helpful and responds to any need you may have while staying. My favorite part is the pool. They have 2 BBQ pits available to use in the pool area. Also the location of this facility is perfect.
Nothing
Location is obviously good, getting a room on Bolivar is always a convenience. Nice to have fridge and microwave in room, plus a wall mounted fan helped with humidity.
DIRTY. Whoever is cleaning this property is doing a terrible job * Note - there are no elevators. You must haul your luggage up the cement steps * Toilet was dirty. Countertop and sink dirty. Took pics. Went down to office, asked for antibacterial cleaner - I was just going to clean it myself. It was almost midnight, on Bolivar, on a holiday weekend. Finding another place to stay was out of the question, and I figured asking for a new room would do no good...if this one isn't clean, the others won't be. The desk guy insisted on giving me a new room, saying "Free upgrade, TWO beds, it's on me". I explained I was alone, don't care to have two beds, only care that it's clean. Moved. New room was nothing I'd consider an upgrade, it was the exact same as the previous room, just with double beds instead of single. Old paint drippings all over the bathroom floor...that just gives it a cheap "we don't care" feel. The toilet seemed clean, but there was a long black hair stuck to the wall, bathroom countertop was even dirtier than the first. The tray that held the ice bucket was dirty / hairy, and there was some kind of yellowish liquid all over the counter underneath. I moved the dirty tray and ice bucket to the floor, scrubbed the countertop down w/shampoo (nothing else available, office was closed). All towels stained. Pillow shams stained. Deadbolt nonfunctional. No peephole. Spoiled creamer at coffee station.
Good location, friendly staff.
I would rather not do battle with a giant cockroach in the bathroom! And the coffee was available an hour later than advertised.
