Convenient Location.
Clean room, comfy bed, bathrooms were very clean as well
I did not realize that it had a community bathroom. Room was very small only a bed and a sick. Carpet was very old and very worn. Sharing a community shower not something I’m interested in doing.
I honestly think they should warn you when its zero staff & online check in. I'm sure some people like that, but I am not one of them.
Our room was very plain, but fine. We "upgraded" to a king, and then tried to sleep through the blaring tv of the room next to us until almost midnight, then we were woken at 7 by a super loud man talking to everyone as they left, so maybe there was someone on staff, after all? At any rate, our supposedly upgraded room was a joke on us because it was right by the front door and we barely got a wink of sleep with how loud the place was, also next to train tracks with an active train schedule. Plus there was a cop rousting a pedestrian (possibly homeless) person in the driveway of the hotel when we arrived.
The (foam top?) mattress had body-sized indentations and the room was super loud. Not a great experience. Cheap as heck but mid-range for that town, and i spent the whole night sincerely wishing we were anywhere else.
The room was just perfect to me
No problem. Will never stay here again. The walls are paper thin and with a cheap hotel you get some pretty shady clientele
Bathroom smelt like sewer beds were clean room clean tv shut down no signal? Expedia should think twice about promoting this property advertised a full service spa I guess they consider the communal washer ,dryer a spa! This property should come with a warning before you enter if you can even get through the self check-in process left a day early without possible refund from Expedia or hotel
Very good service and my stay was very pleasant.
This hotel gave us the option to have the comfort and security while creating some independence and privacy. I appreciate that.
Generic looking on the outside but nice once you get in the room. Cool retro look.
It seemed like a nice place, but I didn't realize I had booked a room with a shared bathroom. I didn't feel like getting up in the middle of the night to pee and having to fumble around punching in a code on a door, you know?
I ended up just booking another room at motel 6 down the street, but I wish I would have realized that I could have just paid a few extra dollars to upgrade to a room with a private bathroom here! I would have 100% rather done that, because the motel 6 was really noisy.
So just a word of advice. Be careful when you book a room here, and make sure you understand the bathroom situation. And then consider that you can upgrade last minute! Wish I had known that myself.
Whole town looked rundown. Not really the property’s fault. He room was fine though.
NA
This property has a fair price for what you get. It has been remodeled although the doors to each room have a significant gap, letting in sound and light. We appreciated the “no smoking” expectation but there was a guest who clearly had enjoyed marijuana and the smell permeated the hallway. The room itself was cute and it was easy to access a Starbucks and McDonalds. Mojave is a sad town and we did not feel very safe there as it was dirty, run down, and there were some folks out and about who gave off a negative vibe. If we had to stay in Mojave again we would choose this location because the price was fair and the sleep good.
Over all it was nice, clean and quiet. The self check in was really convenient. The only problem I have is that I still have not received my deposit back
The lodge was clean ant room was cozy and comfortable. I enjoy staying here and I like the way is managed.
Newly remodeled very clean but small
An excellent value in this restored motel. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. We spoke with a staff member who was pleasant and helpful.
We'll definitely be back when we travel this way again.
Checkin was awful. I prepaid months ago. You can only check-in via text. Was refused. Spent 45 minutes trying to checkin. Customer service said I had to give her my credit card number for $100 deposit before I could checkin. She said I couldn't give that information when I got there because no one was there to take it. When we did finally that straight out room was right inside the front door. Doors were slamming by 4 a.m.
We stayed overnight at the Sierra Motor Lodge and were very happy with what we found here. The renovations done showed attention to detail, keeping the original character with adding contemporary finishes providing a well-appointed room. We had a room with a private bathroom. The room also had a small refrigerator/freezer and microwave.
The motor lodge was located one block off the main road, so convenient but quieter than the motels and hotels on the main road/hwy.
We would stay here again. Great value with a reasonable rate.
