From my first stop at the office to get my key to the minute I left every experience was excellent. I loved the design of the remodel and the room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast room was super cute and there is a bottle filler at the main office that was very helpful! Texas gets hot and the filtered water was an awesome amenity. Both Sarah and Karl were friendly and helpful and I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting central Texas. 5+ stars!!

Owner was at check in and I could tell she was proud of her property. The hotel is clean and small and very well maintained. Our room was super clean and cozy and a lot of cute touches. Glass bottle of organic milk in the cute retro fridge. A record player and pour over coffee. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice getaway.

My family and I had the best experience at this motel. Sarah was very friendly and provided the best service. She texted me the morning we were checking in and offered early check in. When we arrived she gave us a tour and even texted us when bad weather was coming to make sure we were aware. I have recommended this motel to all of my friends and coworkers. We will be staying there next time we travel to Brenham.

Great rooms great staff highly recommended

We recently stayed at the newly renovated Dixie Motel, and it’s clear that a lot of love and attention went into every detail. From the moment we arrived, we noticed all the thoughtful touches, chilled filtered water with reusable bottles, a dreamy pour-over coffee setup that any coffee lover will appreciate, and a fun retro vibe that gives the place so much character.

One of our favorite surprises was finding locally brewed beer stocked in the breakfast room, such a perfect way to unwind after a day of shopping at the nearby antique stores and boutiques. The outdoor picnic tables are a great spot to relax with friends, so be sure to bring a few games along.

This spot is ideal for a weekend getaway with friends. We had such a great time and are already planning our next visit.

Don’t miss dinner at Brossa’s Italian Restaurant while you’re in town, it was absolutely delicious!

The Dixie Motel is wonderful!
We had a college graduation family stay. The rooms are brand new and clean and clean modern bathrooms! Fresh breakfast with orange juice and love the pour over coffee in each room! All the attention to details. Soft comfy beds with amazing bed linens. We will be back for sure!

And very charming with tons of amenities!

What a delightful little hotel. The owner really made us feel so welcomed. Can’t wait to come back to Brenham just to stay here at this little gem of a motel!

We loved this adorable motel newly renovated by the owners. Karl & Sarah were excellent hosts! Our room was clean & cute as a bug. We loved all the special touches like the record player & local coffee in our room! We'll definitely stay at the Dixie Motel on our next trip to Brenham.

Clean and Great Location

Every things was sensational and there were many hidden little details that proved the owners put a lot of time and effort into their great establishment. Worth every penny and it is THE place to stay in Brenham.

The Dixie Motel was a great place to stay. This cute, quaint remodel hotel was the perfect place. The rooms were noticeably clean, the little details were charming and the staff was very welcoming! I was greeted with a nice Dixie Motel water bottle and a tour of the property. Breakfast was served in a breakfast nook with fresh fruits local item…. Perfection!

I chose the Dixie Motel based on prior reviews that were outstanding, and it did not disappoint. We visit Roundtop twice a year for the antiques fair and this will now be the place we stay each time. Karl and Sarah were incredible hosts from the moment we checked in. The motel has been remodeled and is just lovely. Quaint and homey, they go the extra mile to provide little touches and amenities that make you feel like you, as a customer, are important to them. Best place we have found to stay in the years we have been attending the antiques fair. 10 out of 10 in my book!

1st - the owners were absolute angels! Very warm, welcoming, and the best hospitality I’ve ever been met with!

2nd - the property is super clean and the rooms have lovely layouts - also very, very clean!

We had everything we needed and then some! We were so happy with our stay, we booked another before even leaving!
