Check in/Lobby
The staff are amazing and friendly. Hot coffee is always available. Staff are probably the friendliest people working in the industry
They are currently renovating and it’s not the prettiest and it’s extremely loud.
Bon petit déjeuner, le personnel est agréable, disponible et arrangeant.
We had accomodations at this property on 3 different occassions. Unfortunately the first reservation we had to cancel due to a flight cancelation. The booking was non-refundable and the hotel made no exceptions. The second and third bookings were a week apart, flying internationally and returning. The rooms were large, clean, quiet and recently refurbished. We had a king rooms and were furnished with a microwave and a refridgerator. Additionally, the room came with 2 chairs, a very welcome addition. Why hotel rooms often come with just 1 chair, forcing an individual to sit on the bed, is just so inconvenient.
While the hotel was under renovation, it did not affect the stay. The lobby area was makeshift but efficient. Hotel staff were friendly.
The airport shuttle is efficient, free and runs on demand.
Breakfast, on our first stay was excellent. Breakfast during our second stay was chaotic. Stocking the breakfast items was slow to non-existant.
Attention to detail was sporatic. On our first stay, the bathroom was supplied with a wash cloth and soap. On the second stay these items were ommitted.
While the same breakfast was on the menu for our second stay, the breakfast room was chaotic. The hotel was catering to an international tour group of about 30 people, which the hotel did not adequately prepare for. The 2 person staff was completely overwhelmed and could not keep up with providing breakfast items timely (coffee, hot water, eggs, etc). They ran out of fruit, sweet rolls, etc. The time we were at breakfast was 7:00AM and breakfast opens at 6:30AM. This was also the time we were at breakfast during our first night's stay.
The hotel is in great shape and my room was very big for the low price. (I did notice if I booked it same day it was $20 cheaper just so you know). The staff were quite helpful. Breakfast was especially good - the food was above average.
I booked the hotel because of the free shuttle from Newark Airport. You had to call the hotel when you arrived and they would send it to you. I arrived at Newark at 10.30pm, called the number they gave me three times, and no one in reception answered. In fact, the line would go dead after ringing for about 2 minutes. So I had to take a taxi - a short trip cost me almost $45 with tip. When I got to the reception I was told there was another number I could have called, but if the hotel is sending out a number that staff are too busy to pick up, it kind of ruins the point of advertising a free shuttle, doesn't it? I don't blame the staff, who work very hard, but I hope the hotel offers another way to book the shuttle in advance.
It had a free airport shuttle
Our room was dirty and had hair in the bed, we switched rooms but it still didn’t feel super clean. The staff were cold. This experience was just not worth it.
The hotel is close to the airport with 24 hour airport shuttle service. The airport shuttle picks up and drops off outside each terminal, not P3.
The hotel is undergoing renovations. My modernized room is spacious, clean and neat.
Front desk staff and airport shuttle driver are friendly and helpful.
There was no hand soap or body wash in the bathroom.
The neighborhood feels a bit sketchy. It is very industrial with containers stacked high, a rental car business nearby and no restaurants or convenience store in sight to pick up food or beverages.
AirPort Shuttle service and breakfast were advertised but no shuttle was available and there was no food at 7:30 am according to staff.
It was not clean
Staff - Ayesha front desk ( or Aisha not sure of spelling ) and Chris young maintenance dude both came to my assistance to help sort through some light issues
When I booked - there was no mention of restaurant being closed - only after I booked and got confirmation was it written in my booking confirmation
- tv was not working in my room
- AC didn’t work in the room I reserved. I was moved efficiently by the FO staff member mentioned.
- no towels present in room (but perhaps due to they moved me and the new room was not expecting a reservation ) !
The property was newly renovated, clean and very nice
In the room, there was no soap only one towel and the TV wasn’t working and it took over an hour to get it fixed
The location. Felt unsafe.
