The funkyness of the hotel.
Small things like hooks for towels
Rooms and property look like the photos - fun, festive, clean. Loved free drink per person at checking. Pool area was fabulous and you simply had to text staff to bring food or drinks to pool - pay from your pool
lounger. Staff was fabulous. Beds were super comfortable. Lots of activities on property. Quiet room for a good night’s sleep. Close drive to downtown.
Cannot think of anything
The vibes were great-From the welcome drinks to the free games to borrow! I wish I had more time to enjoy everything.
The room had super cute retro vibes but was a little worn.
I've been wanting to stay here since it reopened and the room was nice enough is a little tacky. The bed was comfortable.
When I arrived I asked the desk clerk - sorry 'co-pilot' (who frankly couldn't have cared less) that, due to a bad knee and heavy luggage if I could have a first floor room. I was told they were all booked. Oddly, as I staggered up to my room, there were no cars parked for the lower rooms. Nor were there at 2am. Or any sign of life or occupancy in the ground floor rooms. So much so that housekeeping (who knocked on my door before 9am) weren't working on those rooms. If those rooms are out of commission, say so; don't lie and say they're booked.
The coffee machine was the cheapest possible and out of sync with the rest of the room while the refrigerator was so small as to be pointless.
And a $17 resort fee? Really? I had no need to use the bicycles or fire pits, etc. And a lobby that doesn't open until 8am?
That is was pet friendly

Friendly staff, comfortable bed and fresh coffee in a vintage atmosphere
This is literally a motor hotel—like a motel—so it gives you that classic U.S. road-trip experience you might have seen in movies. There are firepits at night, which are really cozy and add to the Route 66–style vibe. It also has a dog park, which is extremely convenient when traveling with pups. The room was very spacious, tastefully decorated, and had a great vibe.
The dog park was dirty—people don’t clean up, and it doesn’t seem like the hotel cares much. You can hear most of what happens outside when people walk past your room, and you can also hear some of what happens next door.
Lovely rooms, curated to the details. The disco ball is really a nice touch. Very clean and stylish. Bocce, corn hole, telescope available for the guests to use in a very cute outdoor area, with fire pits and hammocks. Truly amazing and absolutely recommended. Also, amazing staff!
Thin walls, gets a bit noisy when other guests leaves
Decor, location, bed, shower, sink
No real coffee maker, office wasn’t open until 8, we were up at 4 due to the time change needing coffee. Unacceptable. Carpet was filthy. Hair all over the bathroom.
So cool and dreamy. Excellent design concept and super cool space like retro future hospitality. Wish we had more time to spend there. Highly recommended.
Beds were a little small but was part of the unique charm.
Everything! The rooms were clean and cozy. Lots of amenities for guests. They even offered accommodations for if we were to arrive after midnight. Great staff, the night guy was super sweet and helped me with my room. The pictures on booking.com were wrong.
We did end up paying more for our room than we should have by $20 because of the pictures on booking.com weren’t accurate. From what I gather, the deluxe queen room was 1 bed and 2 chairs (what we wanted), the superior queen room is just two beds. I booked the superior because it showed chairs and my husband has to have a chair. I paid extra for that room specifically just to find it didn’t have chairs. The night guy was super sweet and walked me through a few rooms to pick one, turned out the one I wanted was the cheaper room. He gave me a few extra waters and apologized for the confusion. That is my only gripe about the hotel.
Sehr gut
