The staff was friendly and helpful
The bathroom was not cleaned completely. The floor was dirty, especially around the base of the toilet. I questioned ever staying at this property for anything, if the room rate is more expensive. I WOULD NOT pay more for another nights stay at this property.
I can't express the kindness Ashley has shown. I wanted to give my daughter and son in-law this stay as a gift for them. They always give and barely receive. Ashley put them in the prettiest view and a little goodie from the hotel. People like this are hard to come by. This lady showed so much kindness. This hotel is so beautiful and the restaurant is the best. Thank you for such a nice stay.
Courtney and Aubrey are professional and friendly you can talk to them as if you’ve known them since elementary days it’s nice knowing you can come here relax talk as if your friends and they give you everything you need, no other place I’d rather be than the double tree, they treat you like family here and everyone loves it
I love Kaitlyn she reminds me of my sweet sweet grandmother she’s so nice and thoughtful, she helps me when I’m lost and confused and she just knows everything about this town.
Only problem? I wanted to stay longer!. My room was spotles, quiet, and super comfortable, with a great bed and plenty of space to spread out and actually relax. Technology was awesome too!
The staff were fantastic the whole time. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, helpful, and seemed to actually care that guests were having a good stay. Any little question or request was handled quickly and with a great attitude, which honestly makes a huge differnce. Bartender's habinero old fashioned - wow
The lobby looked festive and classy, not cheesy—beautiful tree, tasteful lights, and little touches all around that made it feel cozy and special for the holidays. It really set the mood every time I walked back in.
Overall, this is a place I’d gladly stay at again. Great rooms, awesome staff, and holiday decor that really makes it feel above the usual chain hotel experience.
The front desk attendants were so nice and helpful and they gave us a warm cookie. The beds were super comfy. The room had a nice view and we loved the rooftop pool. The breakfast food was so good. Will stay again. I think it’s the best hotel in Abilene to stay at.

Frances and all the staff made our stay at the Abilene Doubletree comfortable and enjoyable. This is a great location close to the hospital. Enjoyed an excellent breakfast each day with Christie, our server. Room was very quiet. Valet staff very helpful. We recommend the Beehive restaurant which is in walking distance.
Large modern hotel next to the convention centre and a few minutes walk from downtown bars and restaurants. Spacious room, comfortable bed and super helpful reception staff.
We had an amazing evening staying at this beautiful hotel. We did dinner and cocktails at the bar and it was some of the most delicious food ever. Thanks to Rob for the best lemon martini. Sam and Frances provided super star front desk service; especially after my 3rd trip to the front desk for warm house cookies.
Ashley O. did a phenomenal job at assisting us with our stay. She was first class and was tremendous at fixing a big problem that we had with our reservation. Her hospitality along with the rest of the staff is why we will always stay at DT when we come visit our family in Abilene.
Rob was impeccable, his expertise with spirits is matched only by his engaging conversation. I had an absolute blast with friends and Rob’s recommendation only made the experience better. 10/10

Great place and great service. My husband had just had surgery and we really needed to be at a meeting. The hotel was sold out and it was really busy. Samantha helped us get an early check in so he could be in a room between the meetings. Samantha went above and beyond what was expected.
Trevor at the bar was FABULOUS!!!! He was so attentive and kind. He was able to replace our original bar tender Macy who had SUCH a poor customer service base. We were very close to just leaving, and when Trevor stepped in he saved the business we were contributing. I expressed my disappointment with Macy to the front desk attendant Hannah and she was super understanding and ask how she could make the stay better. I simply told her by speaking to her so someone else did not have the same experience. I advised we have been here since Sunday night, and this evening was one of the worse nights because of Macy. The room/house keeping could use some work. The trash was never emptied, the towels were folded, they did not replace coffee cups, pods, or wipe down the counters as previous stays have completed. The stay over all was nice, mostly because I’m not a very messy person. I made the bed myself and kept the room clean, it simply would have been nice to have the coffee cups replaced for the next mornings coffee brew and the make up towelettes replaced also. Yes they are complimentary- understandable. However, for the amount of financial compensation to stay at the hotel it’s minor “adjustments” that would have been better.
