My Home & Suites Toccoa

Great value. Just needed a quiet place to stay and this was it.

Stained towels and dusty and crusty in the corners of the room and bathroom

Everything was great

The place needs a complete remodeling!!! No Elevator and we were on second floor. Would not recommend staying here!!!

The girl working the front desk was super nice and helpful. The room was clean abs the bed was so comfortable i didn't want to get up the next morning. Would definitely recommend this place and will book it for future visits.

Front desk manager was so kind. However the room was clean, but towels and sheets are stained, clean, but look dirty and we only had one towel.
Again, front desk was great! I can see major room for improvement from housekeeping :)
Bare minimum, but large rooms.

I never give reviews but this time we are making an exception. This is tge worst room ive booked in a first wirld country.
Heres a list.
Had to ask for water glasses. There were none in the room.
Light switch did not work
The room had weird smell.
The water tasted like burned material was in it. I had diarhea after tasting it.
The toilet barely worked it tiok about five minutes to refill between flushes and was often not strong enough to flush the paper.
No phone chargers in the room.the pool was empty and opened in August. Dangerous.
Safety instructions were missing from wall.
Fan and ac were very noisy.
The outside had little signage. Looks like it obce was a Quality Inn, and still had a Quality Inn logo, but is way below their usual standards
The whole place felt cheap and unprofessional.
The couple manning the desk were nice and friendly. Other than that, the place is a wreck. I woud not recommend it to anybody. Sorry, just being honest

The room had musty smell. the sheets and towels were dirty.

Adequate for a one night stay. Mattress was very comfortable. Hotel was quiet. Could use some maintenance or updates to the air conditioner in the room we stayed in and deep cleaning of the carpet. Otherwise a pleasant stay.

Most people would look at this property from the outside and just assume it is just an old motel. It's an old building but the rooms were nice, beds very comfortable and clean. The people that run this hotel were very friendly. The rooms were very clean and the lobby was very inviting. The location is great location to where the Historic Ritz Theatre is located. You can easily get there by car in 5 minutes. There are also some fast food joints nearby plus downtown Toccoa which is a very quaint old town. If we went back, we wouldn't hesitate to book here again. Also, the pricing was great. The hotel does have a pool but no ice machine. If you need sodas, water, etc., I recommend going over to the Dollar General (across the street) to get snacks and drinks to keep in the room. They do have a microwave and small fridge in the room as well. All in all, I would rate this hotel an 8 out of 10. Nothing really lacking, it's just an older property that needs a few tweaks but overall, we had no issues. If you are on a budget but still want a nice place to lay your head with great pricing well this is your spot.

Bath tub drained VERY slowly.
Pillows were not great.
Reception was very friendly.

can’t beat the price and it was clean and comfortable. The hotel has some renovation projects going on during the day and it reflects on the low rate, which is appreciated. Will come back…

Very disappointed with the cleaning service, very dirty place.

This is an extremely old hotel and it shows. The property needs a ton of work. I really felt like I was back in India. The shower had lots of hair in it, the shower curtain was nasty, and there was literally only one towel available which had many stains. I honestly tried not to look too close. Unfortunately there is only one other hotel option in Toccoa and it was completely booked.

The facility looks to have never been updated or renovated ever. Only one door lock with no other chain, etc… Musty smell.

The hotel had dirty sheets and hair on the bed. There was stains on the walls and bathrooms. Also the microwave door was broken. Management was nice but i wouldnt recommend stay here.

Everything was good, but the mattress was great. I usually don't sleep that well in hotels but this was the exception, very quiet and comfortable. Thank you to the owners.

Staff nice clean

Tv remote didnt work.
AC unit was stuck on 87, with no way to change it because the buttons were broken.
Curtains wouldnt close all the way, and there was light all night long.
Walls were paper thin, you could hear every door open.
Stains on sheets. The sheets were clean, smelled like bleach, but stained.
Musky smell in the room.
NO BREAKFAST, even thiugh the pictures and description clearly shows breakfast. They said because of Covid. Its 2024, no one cares about covid, its just an excuse to save money but charge the same price.
Unfortunatley this is best option in Taccoa.

The hotel was so gross that the bathroom looked like somebody Peed all over the door and no one cleaned it. The room was completely nasty look like the carpet should’ve been replaced instead of trying to clean it. They left one towel for two people in a hotel room that they knew two people were going to be at.
