Charming hotel, owners were fantastic. Had dinner right next door. Definitely recommend a stay at this beautiful historic hotel.
I love this property - booking is always easy-peasy. Location and parking are first-rate - we walked everywhere after parking out front. The room was spotless - tub sparkling, spacious and inviting. Highly recommend The Peerless for an Ashland getaway.
Location
The gas fireplace did not work
Beautiful room, ideal location...love it there!
Nothing...all was great
Lovely comfortable rooms with delightful decor. Beautiful parlor to relax in for coffee or games. Very attentive staff- off sight yet immediately available. Easy walk to town.
It’s beautiful and love the historic building. Jet tubs.
The doors let a lot of sound through.
The hotel was clean, and well maintained. The soaking tubs in the honeymoon suite were fantastic
The atmosphere was fantastic! I love history and Victorian times and this stay eas to die for! The rooms are amazing!
Nothing!
Sooo amazing! I loved all the history throughout the halls and in the lobby, The bath salts and bubbles for the jacuzzi tub smelled delicious, board games, and flawlessly cleaned.
Excellent location in Ashland. Loved the interior design, the keeping with the historic landmark. Easy to access and great communication with staff.
Air vent in Room #6 needs to be redirected away from the head of the bed.
Beautiful decor, large rooms, clean, easy-to-use code system for entry, nice short walk to Oregon Shakespeare Festival
Air freshener smell was a little strong
We loved the charm and history of the hotel. Check in was easy, we didn’t have any issues during our stay. The size of the bathtub was amazing. And it was nice to be able to park the car and just walk around town all weekend.
Hard to say. Since everything was so welcoming.
Cool period details combined with modern conveniences. Quiet. Fireplace going.
It was eerie with no staff to greet or communicate. The coffee was cold. I drink decaf and that wasn’t an option. View of the “hills” was essentially a view of the neighbors and electric or telephone lines with the hills in the background. No one mentioned there would be steep stairs to lug my luggage up.
The room was comfy and sort of funky with a saloon vibe and some eclectic trinkets and antique dressers. The hotel was very cool with lots of history to read about and pictures from previous decades. It was pretty quiet, but we did hear other guests moving around/talking etc which can be tough because I’m a light sleeper.
There was a couple things that felt kinda cheap or cost cutting. Like there was no extra blanket, just a sheet and a top blanket, so I was kinda cold at night. The coffee in the room was awful, which is fair enough but when we went down to lounge it was the same stuff and there was no milk, just powdered creamer. Im a coffee lover, so for me that was a bummer.
