Location of hotel is right next to the beach (though sadly not right on the beachfront). Right next to the boardwalk with lots of restaurant and bar options and in front of a parking lot where you could pay for metered parking. The only downside about the parking lot and metered parking nearby was that certain times during certain days were off limit, which required us to wake up at 4am to move the car.
The front door wasn't auto-locking and when the issue was raised to the staff, the response was very disappointing. The team's response basically was that they didn't believe us until I recorded the situation at 4am (when I had to move the car). Only after receiving the recording did the staff acknowledge they were wrong and indicated they would fix the situation. Whether the situation was fixed, we don't know because we checked out that day.
Rooms were cool
Only that the curtains and blinds didn’t blackout the sun completely.

I booked the cheapest room and had not realized that it had no windows. My own fault really. Will invest a bit more the next time

They had only two parking spaces and you cannot park in any parking lot or streets because they all get cleaned at different times of the day so your car will be towed. My only option was to park at another hotel and it cost $49.
The location.
The hotel was under DESTRUCTION and they did not say so when I booked it or warn me at all, even when I got here. The first morning, noises of the bedroom above me being renovated with drills and hammers woke me up at 7:54. At noon, the room next to me started to be demolished, and a hotel employee knocked on my door as if it were the police trying to take down the door (I had my "do not disturb" sign on as I needed to sleep after about a 36-hour flight). I asked who it was, and he did not answer. He knocked again, LOUDLY. I asked again who it was, and he replied he was coming in and started to open the door. I jumped from my bed and pushed the door closed, replying that he was not given permission to come in and to explain who he was. He said he was doing maintenance and needed to come in. I asked him to let me get dressed. I opened the door, and he said he needed a plumber in, but in two hours.
When I left the room two hours later, he said the plumber did not need to come in, and he tried to bribe me with a bottle of wine and two free tacos as an apology for having barged into my room and woken me up at 7:54 AM with demolition noises. I booked this place with the sole intention of sleeping after 36 hours of flying halfway around the world before jumping into another 18-hour trip. The last thing I was able to do was sleep. And because I complained to Booking, even though I left my room while the maid was still working on other bedrooms and asked for my room to be cleaned, they did not. This is TERRIBLE customer service. A warning should be placed at booking time, letting guests know construction/demolition is going on and letting them know that noises start even before 8 AM (which is ridiculous). A sign was only put on the door (inside) after I complained.
It was so easy very smooth from staff, check in,clean, location, price all could’ve better.
Roof terrace was fab on site bikes very convenient.

From manager Chris, a truly lovely, welcoming, helpful & friendly guy!!!! As well as Carlos head of maintenance & housekeeping, who was so helpful and attentive when I arrived and throughout my visit!!!! Housekeeping were amazing as well!!! The room was always cleaned superbly as well as the entire hotel maintained to a high standard!!!!

It's steps away from the beautiful Hermosa beach and really close to Manhattan and Redondo beaches!! Plenty options around for a good restaurant or bar experience! Area felt safe!! Stayed for 10 days and sorry to be leaving soon!!!
Its alright, for me it worked not to have a pool or fitness facilities! The pros of this lovely little peaceful hotel far outweigh the lack of those facilities for me and what I seek in a hotel!!! All in all , this was a perfect peaceful hotel experience for me!!

Amazing location steps from the beach and restaurants. Room was immaculate. Nice kitchenette.
