Good: Hotel itself, staff, amenities. Bad/Awful: bathroom
Pros:

The staff were amazing and the hotel is very nice and clean.
Other pluses: A/c worked great, attached garage, great location.

Cons:

Another hotel going that’s decided that bathrooms should also be part of the bedroom. Zero privacy other than a semi translucent door with gaps at the bottom. Can’t even turn on the bathroom lights without lighting up some of the room. King bed room, so maybe they’ve decided that if you share a bed with someone, then you might as well share your bathroom experience with them, as well. Unfortunate.

Also, square toilets? Seems odd, but didn’t really bother me. Noting this here for others.

Nice would definitely stay again.
Pros:

The location was central for walking. It was modern, and clean.

Cons:

The bathroom lacked privacy to the toilet. It was more like a stall than water closet. Parking was a bit tight for the price.

Perfect location for a quiet weekend getaway.
Pros:

The location was great, downtown San Rafael was central to lots of places to visit. The hotel was quiet and clean with a modern feel.

Cons:

Parking was a bit hit and miss. There is a garage onsite which was $30 per day and for that rate I would expect to have a guaranteed spot but on the last night there was nothing available. We were able to park on the street though and that felt safe enough.

I loved my stay there. Although I was only there for two nights, everything met my expectations and I felt very comfort

Fine and clean for a 12 hour stay.
Pros:

Beautiful and modern. New. Nicely decorated for the holidays.

Cons:

I like the idea of a streamlined hotel for short trips or for business but some things seem just cheap. Having no bathroom is weird and feels like a bar. No trashcan in the bathroom and no trash bags is weird.

Also...this is TMI but stop making low flow toilets in hotels. No one needs (including your staff) toilets that clog with 3 squares of toilet paper.

Overly priced for what they offer. Some staff js not friendly or receptive/hekpful.
Pros:

Location, yet there are other places in the same area that are a better value and offer more.

Cons:

Hotel charges $28 per night to park and does not have adequate parking spaces to accommodate all guests. If there is no space to park, they refer you to public parking lot next door. Very unreasonable for the amount of money charged to stay there. They offer a breakfast for $18 per person but only serve two hot entrees which are not standard breakfast items which forces guests to eat outside of hotel. They advertise a roof top lounge, yet it’s closed during the week. Given the above vs the price, not a good value.

Pros:

I like that it’s clean

Cons:

The parking lot is limited also the cleaning service accidentally took a skirt and top of mine that was laid on top of the towel and the couldn’t locate it. The staff did nothing to make up for my lost item.
