I could have done better for Fairfield Inn so guests never experience this.
Pros:

Not the breakfast or the extreme lack of amenities that would have added a small touch to the expensive cost.

Cons:

upon check in the desk informed guests, with a generic copy of a notice and verbally, stating construction will impact the water for the hotel tomorrow morning " for an hour, maybe two, we don't know," and when pressed for knowing how to navigate our stay with questions the comments from the desk staff was to " take your shower before bed instead of in the morning".
I immediately took a stand replying that their response was unprofessional and expected a discount on my costs. At which the climate of conversation changed from a " ah shucks folks" to a defensive stance. This event spread throughout the hotel among guests during the evening and it did not improve our experience. Fairfield Inn Conway S.C. front line staff needs professional help.
