Location was perfect for the wedding.
The shower broke first morning and NO ONE got back to us to fix it. Had to rely on family's rooms at other hotels for showers. Not pleased at all.
One room was up four flights of stairs! The second was up one flight of stairs! The posted material on booking.com showed pictures of the rooms but did not suggest the rooms were several flights up & there is no elevator. That's important information that shouldn't come as a surprise on arrival. I'm 81 & my wife is 79. We had no choice on arrival to go elsewhere. The "Beacon Hotel" is not really a hotel but a short-term apartment building. The owner. john, did his best to be helpful. However, he's the one responsible for the misleading listing on Booking.com.
Location, cleanliness, the hotel room was nice and cozy overall
I couldn't get hot water on the 2nd day, the ac wasn't working and I had texted the management about it but didn't get a response. There was no staff present on the property. Overall the room was nice, but the service could have been better.
Right in town.
A lot of stairs.
The room is clean, spacious and cozy!
where you enter the building it’s a bit rundown.
We never actually stayed there, they never provided the code for us to get into the room. More importantly there were homeless people sleeping in the hallway so we of course weren’t gonna stay there anyway I would never recommend this place to anyone!

I didn’t feel safe in that place. During the night, someone knocked on my door pretending to be security, then when I answered, he said he was the owner. Nothing bad happened, but I didn’t feel safe.
The location is really good.
מקום נחמד מאוד
The room itself, while small, was very accommodating. I enjoyed the nook overlooking the main street that I found myself reading on. I enjoyed the beautiful bathroom, and the fake fireplace was another nice touch. Finally, the location right on main street was a great plus.
It could have been better communicated this was NOT an actual hotel. That first and foremost threw me off a great deal. It's basically a hostel. Not having any parking was stressful, there was NO staffing to accommodate any needs. From there, as I walked into the main entrance of the location, it was DISGUSTING. There were open jugs of spackle, filthy floors, broken doors, and creepy lighting. The hallways were incredibly tight to where my bags on my shoulders were scrapping across the walls as I walked in and out. Overall, it ended up serving its' purpose, however, I wish I'd have known this was not a true hotel, as I was paying top tier hotel pricing for it...
Terrible all around. Problems included ((1) no staff at all on hand/had to key in a code to access property and one's specific room (different codes) and not at all intuitive how coded locks worked/very aggravating; (2) AC and regular heating unit didn't work at all; (3) TV could not get regular live network channels (quite the issue during baseball play-offs); (4) there was a VERY LOUD street fair type baazar going on immediately outside windows when I checked in; and (5) not toilet paper dispenser (fortunately toilet paper was there just not on a roller). I would never ever consider staying there again...
Check in was easy
Location.
Very smelly and sketchy entrance way. Bathroom smelled of smoke either cigarettes or cannabis. Too pricey for accommdations.
Can’t access
La ubicación muy buena. El tamaño de la habitación y el equipamiento
No tuvimos contacto con ninguna persona del staff.
Mandamos un mensaje al hotel pidiendo una cuna y no nos contestaron.
Loved my room, clean and so comfortable, with everything I needed, including a fridge and a microwave. Great location on Main Street! Great value!
The sign above the front door (which is in a dimly lit alcove) does not say Beacon Hotel, I think it said something like Beacon Apartments? So I asked the tenant on the 1st floor if I was in the right place and they weren’t sure. Once I put my door code in the front door, it was a little tricky to find my way to my room: up the staircase, take a left, put the front door code in another door, get through that, and look for the signs to tell you to go up the stairs or down the stairs or straight ahead, then through another door, then found my door to my room. There’s no staff there to greet and reassure you that you were in the right place, so just be prepared to need a little extra time to find your way …. and it’s better to arrive in daylight.
This is an interesting location. The only down side is parking and carrying bags up three flights of stairs. But it is walking distance to everywhere and I
really enjoyed the short stay there.
