Hotel Amari

They didn’t turn off our window, there was an issue in the window and it stayed open for 3 days.

Absolute disgusting behavior from their staff, rude, no service.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at and would advise no one to stay here, not even my worst enemy.

They made me check out early because I made a complaint to their team about the service and still have not refunded me my payment or deposit almost 1 month later even after saying they would.

The bathroom flooded with dirty feces water filled, they refused to clean it or fix it the afternoon it flooded and claimed there was no housekeeping staff to solve the problem.

The staff put towels on the ground leaving the bathroom unusable and still flooded. They handed me a plunger said I would have to wait until the next day when "house keeping" was coming in to make the bathroom useable again.

Later that evening I requested that they please clean the bathroom before I return. They did not. I went to the front deck to request again and they refused.

I claimed to them that is one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever stayed in and they forced me to leave, tried to make me leave in the middle of the night, when I refused they forced me to check out in the morning.

Location and nice building

The property is a little outdated but ok

sometimes someone was there to let you in through the front door, sometimes not. shower frequently suddenly jumps between freezing & scalding. power went out in my room, had to wait 20 minutes for it to be resolved, then was told it was my fault for using the space heater that seemed to be the only way to warm the room.

Tiny bathroom.
Water knobs seemed backwards

1. Well, I got charged a deposit twice after they said my credit card didn't go through. One charge got reimbursed, and the other is still pending, which is another $250.00 not available to me to use on my own credit card.

2. Broken/heavy window, needed to be propped open with an ice bucket
3. No AC, so with an open window with no screen I got to use a nice loud heavy fan (oh thank you Hotel, how thoughtful of you to at least have that industrial white noise machine available, which seriously was not loud enough to drown out screaming bum fights or even keep second hand smoke out of my room.
4. May I add that the first room they gave me wasn't even cleaned or ready so they gave me one that was ready but reeked of cigarette smoke.
5. I called down to the lobby multiple times to let them know I was expecting a food delivery and ended up having to go down in person where they had me write a note on an already scribbled on notepad...
6.You had to ring a doorbell to get let in (no in-out card security features, but of course when it came time to leave they told me to leave the door ajar to let myself back in because it was 5:45 in the morning.
7. Not a good place to stay if you're having surgery. It's dirty, gross and the they haven't even updated their google listing after buying the business.
8.No one takes any accountability or cares about your concerns except for maybe one person there.
